IG: People are just using a process of elimination mentioned a couple pages back as to why characters can and cant be TTA. Its not the most reliable thing, but its painting a good picture for the next point which is sadly...
OOG!: Troy on Tims Live stream 3 or so weeks ago said he had talked to Brian about coming back and filming stuff for MH, though he stopped himself before revealing if Brian said Yay or Nay to the Idea.

You're taking certain things as a given, e.g. it can't be Amy because she wasn't involved!, without any evidence of that. You're ignoring that our narrator is not reliable and taking his word as fact. Your arguments for excluding other people are based on faulty logic, or OOG info when this is all about IG discussion.

The point: assumption is not the same thing as fact, and disputing assumption is not the same thing as ignoring the plot.


The point wasn't that. It was that if you're still arguing that TTA is alex or tim, none of the entries since 40 have advanced the plot. At all. Which would be incredibly disappointing.

He's broken -- the video TTA made displays Alex's torn up picture.


For reference:

"Sidetone" has a code that spells out LIES over Alex's voicemail, which we hear later when Jay is on film apparently unable to get ahold of Alex. "Fragments," right before this, showed a torn picture of Alex with "You are broken/you cannot be fixed."

Theories proposed for the two videos include that 'I'll call you back' in the voicemail is the lie, and that the torn photo implies that Alex is dead (audience: probably Jay); that Alex lies, and TTA is taunting him by calling him broken (audience: Jay and Alex); or that TTA is telling us Jay is lying about not being able to contact Alex (audience: anybody who might be thinking of trusting Jay).

Nifty thing about this series: how damn easy it is to make any given piece of the puzzle support your own theory. It's twisty!

This is difficult to say. I would say at least since this video was recorded (IG). The walk towards Tall, Dark, and Scary is difficult to understand. It may be Alex trying to fight Slender Man, but that seems unlikely. It looks more like Alex was either going to find Slendy (which implies that Alex was under his control beforehand), Alex was drawn towards Slendy, or Alex was surprised by Slendy. I am leaning towards the first one.

 		Besides all the arguing in circles about who TTA really is (again), what did we learn from this entry really?
1. Jessica was Amy's roommate. Any other relation is currently speculative.
2. Alex is either incredibly badass, incredibly stupid, or incredibly victimized through his actions in the forest (therefore incredibly not well at present)
I personally like the controlled theory.
3. Jay is mixing footage from tapes and the hard drive? The twitter seemed to imply this. I don't doubt his chronological accuracy for this entry (for now anyways).

Was I the only one who thought that Alex might have been living under that overhang in the forest? I felt sorry for his living situation for a while, then BAM Operator.

I would go as far as to say BEST ENTRY EVA. When I saw the trees I thought nah, they're just trying to get me to play where's Waldo but i won't do it and then BAM. I was just yelling WTFWTFWTFWTF?!?!?!
