I think when Alex left he did everything he could to restart his life and be "normal" again, and forget movies and Slendy, and everything else that took him to the point where he was before J convinced him to hand over the tapes. He probably figured the tapes were the thing -- and that by giving them to J he'd passed on the "curse". So he got himself a job, a laptop, a girlfriend and whatever else it took to move on. And just when he got comfortable a mysterious camera appears...

I know people think the camera was Alex's. But WHY would he keep a camera when all they brought him was Slendypain? Amy says she found it in a closet. Is it possible that TTA, Timasky, or someone else planted it? Alex seems so adamant about the camera and so surprised to even see it that I always wondered if someone hadn't put it there to draw him back into the mess HE started to finish it. (Because TTA is so adamant that J has accomplished nothing of merit.)

I actually kind of like this theory. I always felt that the way Alex reacts to the camera is kind of odd. (I believe even Amy mentions 'You're acting really weird.') It was obvious he was trying to restrain some sort of reaction, perhaps confusion at the appearance of the camera, but didn't want to make it seem like a big deal - either because he wanted to continue not thinking about The Operator, or because he wanted to keep Amy from becoming overly interested in where the camera came from and what was on it.

I'm kinda just recently getting back into MH, so the details of older videos are a bit fuzzy.

It seems that everyone thinks that when Alex got up and walked towards Slendy, it was slow and deliberate, "zombielike". I attribute the pace and deliberate movement to Alex's need to will himself to keep moving towards Slendy in the face of his apparent psychological/physiological attack.

What if Alex might actually have a good intention and doesnt tell Jay because he doesnt want Jay to get hurt looking for him or searching?

I think Alex might be a good person after all. I hope so anyway.

read first 20 pages and got tired of skimming through..but has nobody noticed that you can hear little kids talking as Alex is getting attacked?

I liked this entry...for the most part, it has a very..normal feel. which actually makes it abnormal. Alex and Jay are together from the start, just driving and talking. We get some dialoge about the apartment, the reveal of how Jessica is connected to Alex, And of course the whole time it's just a normal rainy day....which makes me think of that video of TTA filming a bush in the rain (i've always had the feeling that the early tta videos were just him/her filming stuff out his/her window Razz

)...and then.............that. i don't even. 0_o

The only thing that bothers me is Alex's phone call. "just calling to see if you've seen Amy recently". It sounds like he's talking about some acquaintance of theirs that they talk to every now and then....not a (mutual?) roommate who's been missing for a month, apparently due to paranormal causes. Confused

Well I should also add that Jay was somehow filming himself in "Exit" and "Addiction".

And TiMasky is in "Warning" and I forget which one said, "We will wait for you no more... control is being taken away from you..."

Cool theory, but sadly there is "proof" against it... :/

I'm not saying that Alex isn't a "good person", but he's been known to be a paranoid nutcase.

Even if I'm wrong and there is now Hollow Jay (though I have no other explanation for his lost time) it's entirely possible that Alex BELIEVES that Jay is under Slendy's influence even if he isn't.

Another thought occurred to me, particularly concerning Jay:

Where the heck does he get the money to stay on the run like this? Gas money, food, hotels... Isn't Jay a student? How can he possibly have this kind of money?

That's the one thing about this that's bugged me from an OOG POV. Other than handwaving explanations (using student loan money/parents are filthy rich/etc) I can't come up with a good explanation.

Hah, that does seem odd. Maybe Alex is just trying to keep it cool...? He doesn't want to freak Jessica out because obviously if he's not talking about the episode, Jessica at the moment isn't Slenderstalked (at least to Alex's knowledge).
