Slenderman looks different because they're shooting in HD now and more details show up, so they changed him up a little bit. It's pretty clear that the original look in Season 1 was pretty adhoc but he is always so obscured that you can't get a handle on details. HD by its very nature is going to capture more detail, so they had to GIVE him more detail. Now he doesn't just look like a dude with long arms wearing a sock over his head.

It's on purpose, but meaningless.

It's not really a "tunnel of leaves". It's just a hole. In a bush. There is overgrowth that is basically surrounding the forest. If someone can prove to me with screenshots from the video, I will gladly change my mind but I don't see anything that would make me believe otherwise...

This a thousand times over. I also agree that the cuts here were made in the editing process. I don't think any teleportation was meant to take place in this entry since so much else is going on. We found out about Jessica's connection to Alex and that Amy hasn't been seen since they escaped. We also had a face to face with Slendy and some pretty sweet distortion. I think adding teleportation into the mix would just be excessive.

 		I still think there is teleportation, and the images were superimposed (which as I stated earlier, is very possible in Sony Vegas).

As 12th said, the plants form a canopy. You can very easily tell on the other side of the plants that there is no cover.

All hotels look superficially similar. I've been in enough of them. If they are really similar, it just might be part of a chain of hotels that has the same kind of interiors for all of their locations. I wouldn't go overboard in assuming its the same hotel.

jay was warped into the closet. he was warped around upstairs too (day turning to night instantly). he was also warped in entry 40. it's not just jay editing the video, you can tell jay is startled whenever this happens based on the way he looks around quickly

Sure thing. I think the general idea is that he echos them. You might have to turn up your sound or put in headphones, maybe?

The laugh starts just after 5:12.
The first "Hello?" starts just after 5:19.
The second "Hello?" (Sorry I'm mistaken, it sounds like "Alex?" not "Hello?") is at 6:15.
Not to mention when he looks at the pipe at 6:30 and it says, "LISTEN" or something similar.

I don't know what else is on that video, but this is somewhat off-topic so I'll leave it at that.

Also, working at camp and being a fan of a series where going into the woods means sure death is BAD.

Why does Alex walk toward the Operator? Especially after the seizure/coughing-fit/out-of-body-death-crazyness? More importantly, WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM!?

And when will I get the update from NOW that I want?

And Jessica? Jessica! JESSICA!

Okay, spaz attack over.

EDIT: Oh, gads. Really, do we have to assume that there's warping EVERY time something doesn't immediately add up? Guys, as someone who spends LOTS of time at the edges of forests supervising kids- that kind of growth happens. It forms a thin barrier of broadleaf shrubs, and when you go past it, it's hard to imagine that it looked as thick as it did from the outside. And sunlight coming in from over those dead sticklike trees wouldn't help the matter. Get over the teleportation thing. If it's going to happen, it'll be glaringly obvious.

I agree, no warping. Alex would have been confused if he was just walking towards the forest then suddenly jumped to a new, random part of the forest. He just calmly walks forward. Doesn't look around nor is he phased by any change in environment.

 		I'm surprised I didn't see any mention of this in the thread - maybe I missed it, or maybe this is information that was revealed before and I missed it /then/.

Alex says that he jumped out the window, and the next thing he remembers he woke up in the apartment with the camera. Which is exactly what happened to Jay...

Sure, he might just walk around some times as well, but that is all the more we've seen the Operator do.

No Slendicles, no nothing. All the creepy stuff is just what happens when one is near the Operator.

 		I just thought about something while I was working. I'm remembering way back in the first season where we watched the things happening with Alex. One video, I'm not sure what number he showed back up in his room with blood on his face. That does kind of lend to the idea that the Slenderman has turned him into some kind of a minion.

Now FF to number 42 we have him telling Jay to meet him at that woods and leaving him there for a long time by himself till he goes exploring and ends up running into the Slenderman in the very woods that Alex told Jay to meet him at.

Now we have number 43 and Alex is walking into the woods and coming face to fact with the thing again as if he knows it's going to be there.
