It's also not as wide as the white circle in #2, nor is it the same shape. #2 is perfectly round, #3 is oblong-y.

4. OMG IT'S A HAND! (though this may be random.)

5. It seems to be a different color than the other greys of the surrounding distortion but it looks like a little Slendy/Masky face peeking out to say hello! So I think this may have been intentional.

Edited: Because I'm a tard and cannot count.

dude i'm pretty sure it's just alex's lower half that we see from the chest cam point of view... the "bracelet" is his sock

Done in 3 seconds. Green is what I am fairly certain is there Red is my guess.

Just noticed I made the text of the word Hand red... should be green as I am fairly certain its there... guess that 30 second or so scribbling and typing I did shows lol.
But it looks as if the hand is placed on a mouse or something, the ark?... I came to that by comparing my hand to the positioning in the video while I was holding my mouse.

Edit: I thought of it as an Image put onto the camera, and maybe into Alex's head. Going with that he is a puppet now, most likely, it could be slendermans way of asking for what he wants. Maybe a Kill Jay/Masky/TTA/that guy in the park and showing what they were doing at that time.

You keep missing this point though: why is it a big enough problem to prevent them recreating season 1 in HD, but not a big enough problem to prevent them shooting season 2 in HD? It has to be because they've found some way to justify it over the course of season 2 so that it stops being a problem.

because they've already shot most of season 2 in hd... to go down to 480p now would be sacrificing overall video quality for a few slendy face mishaps. if you want to believe your theory about slendy absorbing faces then go right ahead, but know that they said that filming in HD would show certain things like that, in the 5 part interview.

But they did that interview a looooong time before season 2 began. If they knew at that point in time that it would be a problem with shooting in HD, and they considered it a big enough deal to not shoot season 1 in HD, then why on Earth would they start shooting season 2 in HD in the first place?

We know that the MH team are extremely attentive to small details - see the Spongebob incident. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever in any way shape or form for them to let a detail like the Operator clearly having the outline of a face to appear in two separate videos unless it was very specifically on purpose, especially when it's an issue that they already knew existed, they'd had problems with in season one already, and which they considered problematic enough to prevent season 1 being filmed in HD.

For the appearance of facial features on the Operator at this point to not be a deliberate and calculated move on the part of the MH creators, they would have to work directly against a whole series of decisions they'd made about the presentation of the Operator in the past. I just don't see them doing that.

Well, he did the next best thing and edited the entry in question.

But that just goes back to my point. We know that Troy is more than willing to do whatever editing it takes to correct mistakes in the Entries. You can't tell me that it'd be impossible for him to edit out the facial details on the Slendy shots this season if he really, truly wanted to - especially considering one of the most memorable hallmarks of the Operator in the series is that cameras have a tendency to glitching out when he's around (and glitches are, in fact, seen on both of the entries where he's made a major appearance in this season). It would be nigh-trivial for Troy to use distortion effects to erase the facial features that are visible on those entries. He hasn't done that - in fact, both the entries in question give us fairly clear shots of them.

Given the attention to detail Troy and the rest have shown - they're film students, guys, they know how to handle this shit - there's no way that isn't deliberate.

Sorry, Wonder Twin, but this is where our opinions divide, it seems. I do have to agree with onetruepurple - I don't see anything in particular in the screenshot apart from some fancily distorted decaying leaves.

Would it be possible to get some screenshots of these two supposed Operator-with-a-face Encounters? I would just like to know exactly what it is people are seeing.

They may have went HD for him wanting a better image distorted or not. They will have noticed how the suit appears no doubt about it but maybe they figure it just adds a little more creepiness to it and decided to leave it as is instead of messing with it.

They could explain it 3 different ways as well. One would be that he has consumed more people and is adapting more human features. The second is Amy might have been his only meal in a while and he is getting too slender.
The last is Troy managed to within a short time period get a better camera. IG he could have either stolen it or, more likely if you are looking at it with this way, he could have been in college with a full scholarship and been working, at applebees of course you heard his love for the place if you listened to the commentary on the dvd, and had little else to do with the money than save it up... I know he has shown his camera a couple times, entry #26 and Entry #29 it may show up aswell (presuming that is Jay's camera and not Alex for some reason with his chest cam running from slenderman after #26)

And Mr_Magpie here is #43 slenderface.

Thanks for the image. I can sort of see what people might be talking about, but I'm not inclined to assign any particular importance to it. There are supposedly other incidents of the Slenderface during this season as well?

Well, it seems to me that a common thread with the Operator, in various forms, is that while he lacks actual physical features on his head(eyes, ears, nose, etc.), some people have taken the approach that his head still implies the presence of these features, as if to highlight them by their absence. Meaning things like sunken holes around where the eyes should be, a slight ridge where the nose is, and other such to create a sort of physical "negative".

The fact that we are seeing them so clearly is probably an intentional change. But it may simply be that in many instances from S1, the camera either distorted heavily in His presence, was moving quickly because Alex was scared and trying to run, or He was far enough away/dark enough around Him that such "negatives" are hard to make out. So, when we have seen Him clearly in Season 2 without distortion, in good light, without the camera wavering, these "negatives" pop out at us as distinct from prior Entries.
