im gonna try it with that. it's only standard def though. if nothing works i'm going to have to do the 720p rip and use vegas to rip the mp3

Anyhow -- I don't think he's absorbing "fucking faces" but I also don't think that being a douchebag about it is really going to change someone's mind.

Frankly, this is a game of possibilities and any one of us could be looking too close at something, or not hard enough at another. Because Troy himself has said even HE has a hard time keeping all his own mythos and shit straight. (So says the blog anyhow.) So I say: CRAZY THEORIES AWAY!

Anything we're talking about, be it ever-so-farfetched, is a valid way to keep the creepiness factor at bay (because I like to sleep, kthx.)and to put together bits that we may have not put together before in a way we haven't before -- as WELL as kill the time between now and the next video where we may or may not get some validation or answers.

It's a discussion. If you feel someone's point is wrong, go ahead and feel that. Wallow in it until your fingers get all pruny. But if you can't manage to string three civil sentences together about why you feel that person is off the mark -- put the mouse down and walk away, because frankly all you're gonna do is look like an asshole to the rest of us.

Aaaaanndd... with that -- I'm patched. I'm off to roll baddies for an hour before I have to go get ready for school. Toodles!

At first, I just figured he was pointing it out the window, and the rain was incidental, but I rewatched it and you're right. It's focused on the rain, and not the trees/road beyond the windshield. If you're filming out of a car windshield, you usually point it straight ahead, not up.

 		well i can't make anything out of this in audacity, then again i barely know what i'm doing in audacity :p - hopefully someone can make something out of this. i'll be quoting this post every page or so until someone concludes it's nothing (just so it doesn't get lost in the sea of posts)

here's the 2 second clip of the audio that is clearly someone talking. if not, it's just slendy making a weird girl-sounding noise.

Mine? It's "t3h", a 1337-ized version of "teh", which is itself a common misspelling of "the" and my nickname from college, "Kender". I would prefer just "Kender", but a lot of forums have that name already taken, so I added t3h to make it my own.

Edit: I take it for granted, but for those who don't understand the reference, Kender are a race of creatures sort of like hyperactive kleptomaniac halflings/hobbits from the Dragonlance series of fantasy novels. They are also insatiably curious, which is most of what my nickname references.

Though looking at it now, I suppose one could read it as "Tech Ender", but I don't know what that would even mean.

You'll have to change the speed/pitch, since it does sound more human when you slow it down. If I had to guess, the ambient noise is also important in the clip, as the whole thing may be a sample from some other event.

Edit: The other clip was much easier to clean up, as it was really only a matter of removing the oppressive bass noise to hear the high-pitched voice. This one doesn't have any constant noise present, so it's more of a matter of interpreting what's audible in the clip.
