 		Has anyone wondered if they can see the distortion on the LCD camera screens?

Like in this entry, if Jay had looked at the tape by now (Speaking in the 7 months) and the footage from entry 40. I wonder if he sees the distortion on screen and is like OMGWTF??

And if he can see it, why doesnt he constantly look at the screen to see if there is any crazy distortion around. and perhaps save himself from OMGWTF again?

But as much as I say that. I love Jay and his derpiness Very Happy

From this we had to ask ourselves why Alex would lead Jay into the woods, after Jay had a very close encounter with the Operator and Alex had as well. It seems to us that Alex has more information now than he did previously, and that walking directly into the woods after these incidents had to be a direct attempt to lead Jay to the Operator.

There are holes, naturally. They could have been more prepared, or going after the Operator. But Jay seemed unsure in the video of why Alex was leading him there. Assuming Alex was not under the Operator's control prior to that encounter, I think it's fair to say that he is now.


Where would Entry #29 fit into that is our next question to ask.
I really want to see the rest of that entry where #6 on your list happens.



#6 happened in a way...when Alex was telling that story about the burning criminals in Rosswood Park...

I think that happened quite early in the reunion between J and Alex...because J only had his handheld camera and would have been freaking out a bit more due to the events in 40

Entry 29 is at some point after 43 since Alex still had the chest cam at this point...I think they'll have an entry leading up to 29though since it seems pretty crazy...


So, i was lurking as well in the Mable Hornets Wiki, and i was on #29 theories, trying to find something, and i came to this:

"The voice at 0:54 sounds as if it might be saying "Jess" or "Seth."

So, after reading something about Alex theory of "trade" Jay for Amy, what explain Alex's hesitation at #42 and how he seen strange #38 (<-JAY said this) my theory is:

(#35)1: Jay goes to house, meets Alex. Rock meets Timasky's Leg. Alex says he'll call Jay.

(#39)2: Alex calls Jay, tells him to meet him in the park. Jay sleeps in car in order to not miss Alex. And as a result another cameraman videos Jay in the car.

Below here is where i don't have sure, and i could be really really wrong:

7(#38~>):The three main characters have a little trade reunion, fucking Jay pretty good and from here we can only guess, probably. But my guess is

(before and at #29)8: Alex or Jay are wounded/killed ( I bet that Alex is the not wounded or killed, see why below), what explain the blood on #29. Then, Alex or Jay, or even Amy walk in the tunnel, see the Slendy on the tunnel, and therefore, his/her maker. Surprised

Now, i think it's Alex because the person with the camera says, presumably, "Jess", and in my opinion, sound like a close-friend nickname, or even more. (who knows, they knew each other). Wink

And, seeing know, this theory got a lot of holes Embarassed , but I'm more then open to discussion, cause that's the way we are going to sort this crazy shit, huh?

Oh, and sorry for terrible grammar, i'm foreign.

It seems like that might help at least... but apparently when the Operator wants to suddenly appear, he can. Toward the end of this entry, when Alex is headed toward the woods there are those distortions which could warn that Slendy's around. But then there's that jump cut during which a significant amount of time could potentially pass... which I think indicates that not much special happened.

But anyway, Alex is walking into the woods, and I don't think there's much distortion as he looks around. Suddenly there's a high pitched whine or squeal, Alex turns right, Slendy's there, and mayhem breaks loose. I kind of think that Slendy actually wasn't there before the high pitched noise, and that he Offscreen Teleports there when the noise starts.

tl;dr - I think Slendy could sneak up on Jay if he wanted to even if Jay was constantly watching the video screen.

 		Real video distortion generally isn't visible on the LCD during filming since it only affects the tape (which isn't being viewed at that time). Distortion in this series makes no sense whatsoever though, so anything is possible. I think it would be a bit silly if they could see it, though. They'd have to start using the camera like a radar. Confused

Well, here's the question, why would the Operator's signals that scramble the tape, not affect the other electronics? I wonder if there will be an answer for that. Probably not haha Razz

I somehow doubt that it was caused by a supernatural, suited, faceless, tall being that emits an electromagnetic pulse.

The distortion is probably because of damaged tape. Much like my family videos.

I'm 17, but watching the footage of my grandfathers old tape recorder creeped me out. Some of the tapes had been damaged and the sound and image was going weird. My family didn't understand why i was kinda freaked Razz

Same reason J's TV went apeshit in Entry #27 even though the camera and laptop were fine. Surprised

40 - First good Operator appearance of the season
41 - Hoody appears, giving TTA a physical appearance

 		I remember thinking before that either #40 or #44 (or both) would be big entries due to how often 4 appears compared to other repeating numbers. After #43 unexpectedly being huge I feel like #44 might just be another fake-out though.
