You know that sculpture-type thing that looks kinda like Slenderman? I'm not sure how it was supposed to relate to the videos, but for MH they set up one of those of The Operator out in a big field. I lived right in the middle of the filming locations, apparently, and this field was just behind my house. I could see it out my living room's side wall window. It looked like a black silhouette far away against a dark blue evening sky. The thing was kept up for months, without its purpose being too clear. I went on vacation for a few weeks or months, so I didn't get to see it for some time while everybody else got to see it every day. No one else noticed anything change with it, but I knew it had moved much, much closer to me than it was before.

Later in the dream I was looking around for Marble Hornets locations and came across what I think was supposed to be the return address house. After I had passed by my cap flew off and landed out in a field of cows, just shy of the barbed-wire fence. After retrieving it I realized I was lost and it took me a while to find my way back home.

And there was also a 400 year old house/village under a nearby bridge, but I don't know if that was Slender-related or not.

All right, I had another dream out of blue.

I was outdoors in this paved area, with people who I apparently know in Dream Land, and Jay. We're, I dunno, working out, I guess? And then Alex appears at the end of the paved area and starts waving and TROLLING us, he takes off running, Jay yells something about "I'll kill you!" and we all take off after him.

Very, very odd.

Perhaps I am clairvoyant. Perhaps the series will end with all the original cast members of MH getting buffed up and gathering weapons and chasing Alex down. Perhaps Jay will wear a Rambo bandana on his head. (He didn't in my dream, but now that I have the image in my head it will not go away.)

I had a dream I was just hanging out in my room, and either I or someone else took a marker and drew the Operator on my wall. It was a really sloppy drawing, and every time I looked away from it then looked at it again, the drawing grew. Sometimes I would turn around and it would be on the opposite wall. This went on for a while until the drawing disappeared and Oppy appeared in person.

Then I was in the woods with some dude, walking towards a shed. The other guy went off to take a piss or something, then the Operator popped out showed up and chased me in circles around the shed.

It was actually pretty funny because he moved in the same way he does in the cut Entry 37 from the DVD, so I was being chased by this choppy stop motion animation (actually it was creepy at the time but now I can't get over how silly he looked).

Just had a dream Jay was told to go check out this church by totheark

He shows up and it's empty, but he sees the operator walking towards Jessica, who is just staring at a big statue and she doesn't see him

The operator grabs her and Jay goes "no no no no" but still hides, knowing if he attacks the operator he will get fucked up again. The wall nearby Jessica begins showing totheark type videos implying the operator is projecting her mind onto the wall, also implying that totheark was the operator influincing people to post things

Eventually Jessica starts screaming and Jay gets out of hiding and tries to sneak up on the operator, but the operator turns his head towards jay and lets jessica go

He stands still and stares at jay, while jessica turns towards him and runs after him. Jay runs away from her and eventually makes it out in his car

As he leaves he hears jessica yell something like "help me jay i can't control this, find amy at the mental institution, she'll be waiting"

so jay goes back to the place from 51 and finds amy. he asks her about jessica and she has no idea. jay asks her about the operator symbol and all of a sudden she goes into the fetal position and starts whispering "the creepy man, the creepy man" and nothing jay does can snap her out of it so he just leaves.

So I have this friend who I've introduced to Marble Hornets. We've been watching the series together, and I've been loving every single one of her reactions. She's one of those people that is really audible when she gets tense, so there's a lot of "Oooohh.... don't go in there... no... DUDE HE'S IN YOUR ROOM!" and stuff like that.

This morning, I found this massively huge spider right outside the door of the place at which I work, and took a picture of it and texted it to her. She texted me back, and we had the following conversation:

Her: Uh, I woke up, read that text, and went back to sleep... That spider immediately entered my dream, whereas before I had been having a bizarre but pleasant dream about 3 Slendermen (Slendermans?) trying to get me to complete their jazz quartet.

Me: THAT IS THE AWESOMEST DREAM EVER. What instrument did they want you to play?

Her: They wanted me to sing. There would have been 2 singers, a cellist, and, I believe, a trumpeter. Kind of awkward collection of instruments, but OK.

Me: You were gonna sing a duet with someone who doesn't have a face? That's amazing. What song were you two going to sing? Islands in the Stream?

*Sent her a picture message of the Operator from Entry 40 with the text* "You don't bring me flowers... You don't sing me love songs... You hardly talk to me anymore, when I creep through your door at the end of the day..."

Her: I think it was gonna be a lot of improvising. Like a constant jazzy jam session. Maybe Jay and Alex and Jessica just really hate jazz, so they mentally blocked out all mention of their coerced jazz quartet rehearsals.

Me: There it is. You just solved Marble Hornets. You don't need to watch the rest of the videos.

Her: LOL. I am trying to even *imagine* the fanbase's reaction if that were the answer. It's hilarious.

Me: I'm actually tempted to post this entire conversation to see their reaction.

In a dream I had a little while ago, I was in this house where all these sorts of mythical/paranormal creatures were. I walked into a blue room, filled with paranormal beings just hanging about, and I sat on this lounge chair that was next to a locked room. In the locked room, was Jay.

It was entry 65. He had on the facepaint/exhausted look that he had in Return. He was acting all Masky-like, twitching/writhing about like one of Tim's seizures/masked episodes. Eventually Jay figured out how to unlock the door, and he came out of the room.

He went right to the area where I was sitting, and I got up. I had an electricity-shooting gun with me, and I shocked Jay with it. It brought him back to his senses for a short while, during which he was confused and asked what was going on and asked for help, but soon he returned to his mask-behavior state.

Hoo, I hope I'm not getting in trouble for bumping this up after over a month, but I figure, where else is this going to go?

I had an MH dream last night, which is weird because I wasn't thinking about the series any more than usual.

It was Entry 63. The setting was a library of some sort. Tim was in the foreground, close the camera, visible only from the waist up as he silently read something he held offscreen. Jay was to the left, further back, on a ladder, looking over some books on high-up shelves. Now comes the weird part. Masky was in the far background, behind Tim about 40 feet. Not Hoody, or one of the other Maskies or a new Masky, but the one that we all know and something-or-other. Masky stood motionless for a good part of the video.

Suddenly, Masky whipped out a large pitchfork and ran at Tim, impaling him. Then he turned just as Jay whipped around to see what the noise was, and was somehow slashed in half by the pitchfork. Then, Masky dropped the pitchfork, approaching the camera, and removed his mask, just to show... someone we've never seen before. Some round-faced Caucasian gent with a prominent chin. There was an odd blip of sound just before the video cut out.

Someone here on Unfiction ran the video through a spectrogram and found that the noise showed the end image (of Masky without his mask) with the words "the jOker" written next to it.

...Abrupt end, but very interesting. Sounds like something I'd script XD

Had a dream where I was going to look for abandoned buildings to use in my own slenderseries. I eventually found a cool one, when trosephim showed up. Keep in mind I live on the other side of the country. Well, they asked me if would like to watch them film for MH (something along the lines of that at least) and so I stayed and hung out with them. It was awesome. And then when the new entry went up (in the dream) I already knew what was going to happen.
asdfghjkl; best dream ever.

I've had a few Slenderman-related dreams, but two stick out in my mind as the freakiest. I'll copy them from my dream journal and paste them here, if anyone's interested in reading about what goes on in my head. I apologize that these aren't literary masterpieces, but I wrote them down right after I woke up so I wasn't too concerned about them sounding great. Plus, I'm too lazy to fix them now XD

Last night's dream was simple, but it had a profound effect on me. I was sitting on my bed at night with my bedroom door closed. I got up, opened the door, and saw the Operator standing at the end of the hall. When I woke up, it was still dark and I really had to go to the bathroom. Took me a half-hour to finally gather up the courage to open my bedroom door. Of course there was nobody there, but I still almost had a heart-attack.

Had a dream last night where my dad, sister, and I were exploring an abandoned building at night. My sister and I both had flashlights, but my dad didn't so he followed me. My sister decided to explore the second floor while dad and I would look around on the first floor. The electricity in the building didn't work, but this was the only sign that it was abandoned. Other than that, it looked like a normal house. After walking around for a while, my dad and I got bored. We decided to go upstairs to find my sister so that we could all leave, but when I shined my flashlight up the stairwell I saw the Operator standing at the top of the stairs. My dad was a few steps behind me, so he didn't see it. Without saying a word, I booked it out of the house. I ran and hid behind a bush in the neighbor's yard, but no one else ever came out of the house.

I actually had a dream last night that Jay and Hoody were dangling off the side of a cliff and then Tim pushed Hoody off and as he fell into the abyss below he yelled something like "I'll get you next time, you meddling kids!"

I had my first MH related dream last night. I was checking the channel right before bed just to see if anything had been posted. Much to my surprise, I saw that there were 2 new entries as well as a new tta video all on the same day! I was so excited that something was finally happening that I settled in to watch them. Then I woke up and disappointingly realized that it was all a dream.

Ugh... I hate myself for admitting to this.

Every so often as I have worked my way through the MH series, I have had dreams related to it. Not overly common. Not nightly. But I hate them.

Let me tell you /why/ I hate them.

Most of the time, when you fall asleep and slip off into a dream, its quite obvious that you are in a dream. I dream fairly consciously and have a lot of dream control. To put it simply, I know when I am asleep, it has a different feeling from reality. I can make decisions in my dreams. I can control and change the content.

Not the MH dreams.

I go to sleep, and I dream I am in my bed. In my room. Nothing is different. Nothing is out of place. If the dog or the cat were on my bed, they still are. If the news was on the TV, it still is. Most disturbingly, I have no control... and it doesn't feel like a dream. It feels like reality.

In these dreams I will get frustrated and give up on sleeping and go wander about, to encounter some typically freaky MH things. Or, I will stay in my bed, too chicken to go out and wander, or maybe just too tired. Yes, I feel tired. I breathe in these dreams. I have vivid dreams to begin with, but the smells, the textures, everything just feels so real... anyways. I will stay in bed, groaning and grumping in my mind about not being able to fall asleep. Debating on getting up or staying where I am. I'll toss here, turn there, open my eyes to look for the clock... and there's someone on my desk, staring at me. Or there's that tall fellow himself, just outside of my bedroom door, or in the corner. When I wake from these dreams, its not the waking sensation you typically get from waking up. Its like I never slept at all. It literally fades so seamlessly into reality that I've sat in my bed, staring at a part of my room, wondering where the masked figure perched on my dresser went, or staring at where I last spotted Slender Man. One day, I literally jumped up and ran to get my video camera. Another eerie note is that if I am stuck wandering, I have to return all the way home in my dream, and back to my bedroom before I can wake up.

Sadly, I don't get the cool story dreams like you guys do... I just get that. A few times I have hung out with Alex or Jay, but its really rare. And in the one dream I DID have, where I remember feeling like it was a dream, Jay had no eyes. Just a blurry spot mending his eye sockets into nothing, no matter what angle you looked at him from. In that dream, I know I was a proxy. Not Hoody. Maybe not Masky, but maybe. I don't...really remember what my mask looked like. I remembered I had to follow him, but if I got too close, my head would start to swim and my throat would close. If I got too far, shadows darkened and my vision swam. It was like something (Slender Man?) was spurring me forward, giving me warnings, but at the same time 'mastering' me in such a way that if I got too far, there was the looming threat of something bad happening to me.

This past Friday night, after I had actually met the MH guys, I had a dream that involved them. From what I can remember, Tim was switching between himself and Masky, and Jay for some reason found me and needed my help trying to deal with him.

We were back at Rosswood, during the day, and the entire park would randomly rearrange itself. One point we would be near the shed, the next, the tunnel would be behind us, then we'd walk a bit and randomly be back at the parking lot, then again be randomly lost among the trails.

We eventually found Masky, who led us along a set of trails that didn't rearrange; it was as if his presence calmed the forest, and the rearranging ceased as Jay and I followed Masky. As long as we were near Masky, we were safe.

We then arrived at the tunnel, and found Alex there waiting for us. "Hey, guys, where have you been?" he asked. Masky just stood there, silent as usual, and Jay approached Alex.

The two argued for a bit about stalking and danger and this and that, then a strange, tall, faceless figure in a suit showed up. Everything went hazy at that moment, and I don't remember much.

Next I remember happening is the four of us, Alex, Jay, Tim and myself, were at a pub, ordering drinks, and generally chatting. The Operator was nowhere to be seen.

Weird dream.
