[Image Data] Xdif information Xdif info Evidently the images were made on a Mac by someone who either named their Mac "Ducky". Or that's their nickname.
Also they or someone working with them is very techi as you have to compile the Adobe XDIF SDK to add it into the software. (Or they paid mucho dinero to get a great software package.) Either is possible. Ducky doesn't seem to point to a different /webpage though.
Still looking at the various images, but they all seem to have originated from one Person/Mac.

I found it after saving the images from the various websites in the game.
Then I opened them with IrfanViev. It has an option so you can view the Hex code of the images.
There is a link imbedded in the hex that points to Adobe, of which goes to the xdif imbedding app SDK. THE SDK isn't in an exe but has to be compiled it seems.
'Ducky' shows up in all the image files, even those with out the extra Adobe pointers.

That was one of the the images used for the Traelek Institute.
I was looking at it to see if they had buried a website or clue / trail for more places to look in the XDIF information in it.
(It was something to do while chewing gum....)

The "Ducky" in the Exif data is actually kind of an easteregg on Adobe's part :

Quote:
We asked if anyone knew why Ducky should be the program's ID. Reader Bill Verzal suggested we go to a certain page on Adobe's Web site for some details.
This page tells us the reason for this eccentricity is that developers have a rubber ducky obsession. If you have Photoshop, check out the page and try the Easter eggs - it is obvious that those coders were clinically obsessed.

Ah cool, nice to know. So it's a dead end lead.
Interesting trivia though
