 		I requested that Control isolate the corruption. It did so, leaving one area untouched. I asked for identification of this sector. Here is the reply:

Try using the phrase "He is still alive" and see if you get a response.

 		I used the Keycard 001 on a door. There was a little girl who can't find her dad whose name id Cecil Masters. She was left in the room by a man in a white outfit with "Graham" on his nametag. That's all so far, but I'll keep you updated.

EDIT:

After talking to the little girl (Maria) for some time, she gave me another Key Card named KeyCard 002 and told me where Graham is. I found him in a hospital room and he asked how I got there. Told him about maria, and he asked how far I was willing to go.

I replied, "As far as I can possibly go."

He then replied with this:

GRAHAM: Very well. Then you know what you must do. Of course you know that this incantation of me is not real. I exist in the real world, but before I was put in this situation, I altered the game files so that anyone who played could talk directly to me. What questions do you have?


I decided to ask him about the Jerusalem Project and see if he has any knowledge about it. He said:

GRAHAM: Project Jerusalem was a black box program. Once I had maintained success in the cryogenics program, I had discovered what all humans wished. Interdimensional travel. But I soon discovered in these new dimensions, there were "things" which I named "Darkness Clouds". They altered the DNA strands of Hydrophilic Lifeforms, and soon enough, made me deathly ill. I planned to see the full effects of the darkness on human beings. I wanted to make our race adapt to these new conditions. Making the perfect human lifeform...was Project Jerusalem.


I asked him about why Cecil was saying he died from a rare organ disease. All I got was the following:

For the record, this went from being a little dull and unimpressive to a lot of fun. Can't wait to discover more, and hopefully hear more of the actual drama.

Will keep you all posted on my play and on my double gambit result.

 		Well I didn't get very far. I started the Catacombs game and got the keycard. But I'm one of those people who like to "collect every coin" so to speak when I play a game so instead of going straight for the door I thought I would examine the bush first - thinking I'd get one of those "You look but find nothing" replies and then I'd continue to the door. Nope. Shut the whole thing down and told me to try again later. I waited a couple minutes and tried to initiate the game again but I got

>>CONTROL: CORRUPTION DETECTED. SHUTTING DOWN.

and with that I am shutting down as well. Time for bed. Guess I'll try again in the morning.

A couple of us got that one. Those of us who chose to execute the quarantine, that is. The ones who chose "N" (or any negative answer, I suspect) received an e-mail from the corruption thanking them.

I just checked thebeginning, and it doesn't look like anything's changed. I haven't looked at any of the three files there for download.

The same can be said about interminelaboratories.co.cc. Though I see where we got "Oceanus" earlier. It's one of the dimensions with which Earth shares a border, apparently. Not sure what it all means...
