Billhouse, sounds like they are available in Fry's mate, which is a regular grocery store. Dunno if that helps.

Billhouse, if you find them, let me know via pm would you mate? Same goes for anyone else who is gonna be kind enough to offer the same service Smile

Will do. I won't be getting out for a couple of hours yet, but I'm on the case!

Also, a request to everyone:

I know that 5Gum is probably the easiest packaging to open up and tamper with. As easy as slipping off the barely attached cellophane and gently sliding open the cover as you wait in line at the store.

Don't do it!

I will make sure to send any codes you need with visual proof of the physical pack of gum. Maybe with a newspaper, like a hostage photo. I just want everyone to know that no shenanigans went down with the procurement of the codes.

Ah, man. I don't have a Facebook page so I can't see the original post, only the interior photo. The packages ARE marked on the outside somehow, right? I *just* bought three packs of React2 last week in NYC and there were no codes. Razz

I'm not in a major market. I may not even be able to get many of the flavors, and they may not have the special packs... bluh. I'm not surprised they want us to buy gum, but it's frustrating to fight to track them down.

And yes, nicely put Billhouse. Always remember when ARGing Wil Wheaton's motto: don't be a dick.

I believe the packs are marked with a visible icefly on the back. The FB group has pics posted: LINK

Cool, thanks Ogawa. Not having an account can be a big pain sometimes.

New player here.

I wonder if the special packs are available all over the US or just in certain markets? I bought a couple packs of 5 gum when I was grocery shopping last Wednesday and I don't remember seeing any special packs in the multiple flavors I looked at.

Just went up to the gas station near my house to get a soda and see if they had the special packs. No luck. I'll have to look at other places. I'm in Fort Collins, CO btw.

I just got back from my walmart. Im in Missouri.
After looking through all their gum, the only one i could find with an icefly on the back is Cobalt. The plastic said limited edition but only some of them had iceflys on them. Guess i will have to wait for some gum to circulate through. Maybe that is way there is another countdown, to buy time for people to get gum. I will try other stores.

I hope that we don't have to toss through the entire box of gum to find one or two packs with iceflies. Poor stockboys. Twisted Evil

Also, can anyone post the Best if Used By Dates of qualifying packs? I'd like to see how fresh this gum is. I saw a bunch with July/August 2012 date with no Icefly.

That would mean that a box of gum is only packaged with a certain number of marked packs. They wouldn't do that, would they??

The icefly packs are a chase? *headdesk* Somebody at Wrigley's marketing must have a vinyl collection Razz (Hope it was a coincidence though.)

Going out to look after dinner. If I find some, should I buy more than one of each flavor...? Willing to give codes to folks if they'll PayPal me for the gum or something.
