What are the details in the aftermath? I don't see anything in the HTML or in the JPG.

Looks like it's a play on the infamous Tunguska incident.

Is there some way to remove the blue "broad stokes" to see what's being covered up?

I've looked at the page as well as its source code and looked things about the couple real world things that people have talked about in the last few posts and haven't been able to find any word that works, I've even tried a few synonyms and other random words that came to mind after reading it all.

They're far toot thick. Even after doing some meddling in Photoshop, I found that it doesn't seem like that's what they want us to do.

in /coduit it says
"Discovery can't be painted in broad strokes – it's the fine details that linger in the aftermath."
I think that the next clue it a small detail in the picture on /aftermath

It certainly feels like there should be a clue. In the aftermath article it mentions the smell of 'cloying' smoke. This reminds me of the unnamed woman wearing a whole lot of perfume in the new prelude log. Unfortunately this doesn't lead us anywhere.

There seems to be a small black object and oddly enough, what appears to be a large tentacle on the right hand side of the paper clipping. Probably just my imagination though.

Wow. I was pretty bummed out after the timer hit zero, and the image a half hour later didn't help. So I gave this ARG a break and attempted to socialize.

Now: a semaphore discovery, 20 music game victories, 5 log files, and 3 or 4 traelek links later, I realized why ARGs are so freaking awesome. This community is the best.
