Bobbi mentions it when she is describing the objects on the shelf in the new prelude logs.

i noticed that it was one of the things that the girl listed that was on the shelf on the comic and thought that it seemed different because the reader can't notice it but they still made a piont of mentioning it

Kinda a crap shoot as to which words to use in /[insert word]. Anything that stands out, underlined, italicized or seems new/made-up.

So, does the black envelope at /benevolence remind anyone else of the black "CONFIDENTIAL" envelopes handed out at E3? I didn't get one, but that's what I imagined they looked like.

Absolutely. (Didn't get 1 either BTW)

I don't think anyone has made this connection yet, but the two newspaper clippings we have so far (blameless and aftermath) both involve fires with unknown causes. Coincidence? I think not. Also, the fifth page of the log files has lava/fire. What exactly are we dealing with here?

Mhm, I noticed that too, but it slipped my mind to comment on it. It's interesting that we have such frequent references to fire and ice...

Actually I'm with ya there. I've just made so many fruitless guesses with this traelek stuff it's incredible, lmao.

But yeah so far I've made small connections to each (Sorta)

blameless -> aftermath (two random firey incidents. One involving Rubillon Heights and one Taymyr Penninsula (both containing the same number of letters/spaces) also both pictures labeled "paper.jpg")

Conduit -> Ascent - both art (though kinda want to attatch longing to ascended as well too, because ascent has the picture taken in the genesis video)

decoy -> benevolence (both shady) other than that, not much there

Then there is misguided and longing? hmmm

yeah, I donno, definitely a connection between those first two.

aftermath

"It's the fine details that linger in the aftermath"

This has to be not only directing us to the aftermath page, but it has to be a clue as to what were supposed to be finding in it, right?

Yeah, that's been bugging me. I've been looking for the "fine details" in/on the aftermath page, but I have nothing to show for it yet.

What would qualify as a "fine detail", anyways? Punctuation marks? Buzzwords from stuff about Taymyr Peninsula and the noteworthy crater therein?

I opened the aftermath jpg in Notebook and found the word "Ducky", but I have no idea what it could mean, or if it's too esoteric to be worth looking at.

Or maybe "aftermath" actually refers to "the aftermath of the Genesis Event", i.e. our achievement and Log pages. Anyone gone over those with a fine-toothed comb yet?

Actually I think "ducky" has been found elsewhere in this ARG, although where exactly escapes me at the moment. Someone said it's sort of a programmer's in-joke at 42e (the name of someone's computer or something along those lines), and isn't relevant to Test Subjects Needed.

I was thinking perhaps now we are supposed to go back to TSN.com or SC.com? Maybe the traelek posts are supposed to clue us in on something back at one of those sites?

another thing I noticed is that the page for the biophysics monthly is sept. 2010 issue, and the odd thing is that unlike the drawings from /ascent (which just cycle thru as you click on them) when you click on the cover, it takes you to a different directory. it goes from biophysicsmonthly/default.htm to biophysicsmonthly/inside.htm

This makes me think that maybe there are other pages as well?

Perhaps. I actually felt that those first two pages of the "featured article" were simply introductory, and that it must go on to something of more substance, considering it's in a scientific periodical.

However, I could also see it being the only pieces we ever needed to see. Something about the two sub folders being called /default and /inside make it seem as if that's all there was supposed to be.
