Unless the image is layered, I don't think so.

I have been a little bit out of the loop...so im not sure if someone has said this yet or not: one: I think the whole thing is in russia, the traelek institute, and the guy found the icefly in russia, probably in the chukcha crater (just a thought) Two: under traelekinstitute.com/biophysics, the pamphlet, there is a section of the text (on the second page) that has odd spacing. The section under "we are at the breaking point" has way too many spaces between some of the words.

EDIT: another thing, there is a strange difference in the pages. for the biophysics pages, there is a /default, and a /inside. for the hiltrecht acadamy, it is all under one site. possibly meaningless...just weird.

EDIT: the two letters, one from bobbi to maxine, and the one to proffessor over the confidential envelope. that is not bobbis handwriting on the second letter. possibly maxines? and why the whole "my" crossed out thing?

I honestly don't think there is anything there. I've messed around with it, de-saturating and lightening the blue, but I don't think it's any more possible to lift the blue away than it would be to edit out a building to see someone behind it. I do believe it's a very old photograph, but what we see is the back of it anyway. It may be helpful if there's a date or description hiding in a bump map or something, but we're not going to get the image.

The painting seems to consist of 3 parts; 2 side parts and one central part.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

The 2 side parts can be aligned if you use those 3 dots I have put in circles.

Some differences between the side parts have been spotted and marked in blue.

Does anyone remember the fold pages in the back of Mad magazine? You would fold up the picture that asked a question, and the answer was revealed when you aligned the folded pages correctly...... has anyone tried this with this picture?

Yes. The brush strokes almost match up. You're missing the fold in the middle held together with tape though. I've been trying to see which dents go in and which go out, which direction it was folded first and so on.

Where brazilians can buy 5 gum?

I'm brazilian and I 've never participate on things like that before and I am really enjoying this. Someone can tell me where I can buy 5 gum online and how much I have to buy to have chances to find the icefly and the code?
(Please forgive the english mistakes).

No, not missing the tape. I think that is important, and one of the first things that was noticed. If I had access to photoshop I would try cutting the pic along that line and try different things with the 2 halves. (Which I am pretty sure some people have tried) I am also wondering if anyone has tried anything like superimposing this painting with the older drawings?

Has anyone tried folding the picture where the tape is located or where the tear marks are(this indicates that that is where the paper was more fragile than other parts due to something and I'm thinking it was folded on that specific point many times and the tape shows where the paper was weak and ripped, maybe due to folding it may times...), I have Photoshop but not the skill to make this happen. I cut the image in half, overlaid the two halves so the dots lined up, and reduced the opacity on the top layer to 50% so I could see both. I can't see anything useful.

This does seem like a good lead, though. The two halves are very symmetrical, especially the areas in the red boxes of nfalcon's image.

Conduit photo idea

I just thought of this for the conduit photo! My printer is broken but can someone print out the photo and make a tube out of it ( conduit ) with the photo on the inside and see if we get a forced perspective of something!! Laughing

I printed it out, and rolled it like a tube (conduit), but nothing new to see, aside from the fact that the sides match up when over laid as stated in someones earlier post.

I see the folds, 3 vertical and 1 horizontal.

I remember those folded up pieces of paper as a kid, you would open and close them sorta like a birds beak. You would ask a question, choose a number...count the opening and closing of the beak and get an answer from what was written in the space you ended with.

Sorry, but that's the best I can remember it.

Should do a google search to see if I can come up with that game, and how to fold the paper.

Instructions for folding the paper are at the website listed below.

A bit of a meta theory

This is Coachella:

This is the fifth Ascent image:

Has anyone finished Coachella? I can't, it freezes and crashes in door 3, but the similarities are interesting Each task seems to focus on a specific sense. In turn, this would make sense if all the 5 commercials focused on HSP, and in a way, they seem to. They make the subject evoke the sense of taste visually. Might this be the Institute?

I don't think we're actually going to find it in this game, it wouldn't make sense to spend the money on something they can send to their 5 million fans for free on facebook (and that does seem to require at least one purchased pack), but wouldn't it be interesting to see a bit more of the TI than we'd need for this game, and toi have been seeing it without realizing it for the past few years? Or is it 2 am and this all just over-thinking these images as a whole?
