just a guess

to what mon1337 said. have you tried (2796) its the number version of the date of the fire. its probably irrelevant though. how many pin numbers could you select anyway?

Yeah, I tried every version of 2/7/1996 that I could think of (even Julian!), to no avail. Not sure if there's a PIN limit; if so, we haven't met it yet.

Something that jumps out at me is the brochure on http://traelekinstitute.com/misguided/

The back page with the "Working to turn the tide" in much bigger letters and spaced out that way is odd. Looks like a haiku that way.

That's an interesting point. This back panel seems to indicate that this Academy is like a boot camp or place for wayward kids, and its word "misguided" seems very appropriate. The more I look at the pamphlet, the more unnerving it seems, though. There's something about it that's very foreboding, especially that line "...we'll keep you on task and out of harm's way, so long as you abide by our rules."

...You think the kid who burned down the house got sent here as part of a correctional something-or-other?

Gimmie20dollaz: OH! Sorry about that! I would say probably, and maybe even the country code to be safe. My phone automatically brings up the area code for non-contact numbers, and the Institute's came up as "unknown."

Oh wow. I did an area lookup for the area code "886," and apparently there isn't one for the US, or even for North America. Google offers some links that seem to indicate that it's an area code for Taiwan, but I don't know a whole lot about phone lines so I couldn't tell you what this means. Maybe it's just an unlisted number?

886 is also in the series of toll-free 800 numbers I believe. I could be wrong though.

The area code is actually 866 which is a U.S. toll-free number

People are talking about the spacing on the brochure - and there's odd spacing for paper and token. Perhaps try combining the two and see what happens? Probably won't be anything, but it's worth a shot.

Maybe the misguided part of the brochure, isn't the children they are trying to get help, but the academy itself?
This is just me and my crack theroying but what if this is the thing we're warned about, that though the H Academy is trying to solve the problem, it is actually causing people to lose thier senses by aligning them from things that would lead them astray and uniforming them...

Just a thought.

so I am going through the blameless article and I notice many grammatical errors those that have already been pointed out I will not repeat but;

The article refers to the picture ABOVE not to the side.
What if that picture actually isn't the real one
