5 Gum display at a local gas station, so be on the lookout for these now:

ETA: this was in Urbandale, IA at a Kum & Go - midwest chain with a terrible name.

Had a great idea for all those extra gums everyone's buying...

Save'em for Halloween candy! Mr. Green

My eyes water every time I go into my room. I'm not sure I can hold on to it for that long! Besides, it would make every other piece of candy taste minty too (which might not be a bad thing) Smile

I just found that mixing rain and prism makes both "meh" flavors really good. Wink

At least you're following directions - "stimulate your senses!" Let me know if you find a QR code on your tongue tomorrow.

Spare 5 Gum Codes

Um... I got all the constellation keys and a total of 10 facility keys loaded to my account. Think it was a bit overboard, so here's a few codes I haven't used:

- v7m5n5j6h4

- 2c9t8f7w8z

- 9m4v1x9n9t

Perhaps you should edit them out from public eye. Give it to someone outside the USA. They would appreciate it.

Well, someone appreciated it, they've been used. =p (Not that I tried to use them myself... LOOK! SHINY OBJECT!) Cool

Any free unused codes would be greatly appreciated. Preferably pm'd not posted. There's still a week until we find out what these keys and constellations are for.

The Target in Philadelphia near the IKEA / airport had Test Subjects Needed-friendly packs of 5Gum: Vortex (green apple). Expiration date: Feb 19, 2012.

Wish they'd clearly label the three-packs so we didn't have to purchase singles to guarantee codes. Still, this has gotten me back in the habit of chewing gum, which has been fairly helpful in maintaining the diet. So kudos, Wrigley!

EDITED TO ADD: I tried scanning in the QR code on my smartphone (and can I just say, after years of dealing with the codes, it's a relief to finally have a way of getting to the page without spending 15+ minutes) but I get an XML parsing failed error message. Anyone else having this problem?

I noticed that different flavors have different urls and phrases on them... thought I'd start a comprehensive list, in case these words and phrases might be relevant clues.

Quote:
COBALT: [You have been chosen] www.survivalcode.com/selected

RAIN: [Discovery begins now] www.survivalcode.com/explore

REACT^2 MINT: [Step into the lab] www.survivalcode.com/investigate

REACT^2 FRUIT: [Open the door] www.survivalcode.com/gateway (Thanks, Adm_BlackCat!)

VORTEX: [You hold the key] www.survivalcode.com/unlock (Thanks, DixieCyanide!)

Cobalt's URL redirects to www.testsubjectsneeded.com, while all of the others redirect to www.survivalcode.com.

Not just any word will redirect to the main page - StaticJolt and I tried guessing a bunch of different URL extensions, and most of them resulted in a 404 error... but through trial and error, we did stumble across a few more that also redirected:

Additional URLS that worked:

www.survivalcode.com/test
www.survivalcode.com/reveal
www.survivalcode.com/uncover
www.survivalcode.com/fate
www.survivalcode.com/searching
www.survivalcode.com/unlock
CONFIRMED

We're assuming that these all come from different flavors, but confirmation (as well as the corresponding flavors & phrases) would be nice. Smile

=====

UPDATE:

All URLs now redirect to www.survivalcode.com, whether they are linked to the campaign or not (ie; www.survivalcode.com/insertrandomwordhere will now redirect to the main page, instead of getting 404'ed like it would have before).

This makes me think that we may have been onto something with these word & phrase associations. Of course, it's possible that they just fixed the site so they'd have fewer error flags, but then again, maybe we were on the right track... thoughts?

I'd like to keep this effort going in case there is any relevance. We still have five more url extensions to confirm, so if anyone has any info to add, I would appreciate a quote and edit. Smile

Thanks!
-Monica
