I cannot find this post anymore, but someone said you can get up to five test facility keys? I would like to know so I don't buy more than 11 packs for nothing.

Trying this here, since the other thread is a bit chaotic...

I noticed that different flavors have different urls and phrases on them... thought I'd start a comprehensive list, in case these words and phrases might be relevant clues.

Quote:
COBALT: [You have been chosen] www.survivalcode.com/selected

RAIN: [Discovery begins now] www.survivalcode.com/explore

REACT^2 MINT: [Step into the lab] www.survivalcode.com/investigate

REACT^2 FRUIT: [Open the door] www.survivalcode.com/gateway (Thanks, Adm_BlackCat!)

VORTEX: [You hold the key] www.survivalcode.com/unlock (Thanks, DixieCyanide!)

Cobalt's URL redirects to www.testsubjectsneeded.com, while all of the others redirect to www.survivalcode.com.

Not just any word will redirect to the main page - StaticJolt and I tried a bunch of different words, and most of them resulted in a 404 error... but through trial and error, we did stumble across a few more words that also redirected:

Additional URLS that worked:

www.survivalcode.com/test
www.survivalcode.com/reveal
www.survivalcode.com/uncover
www.survivalcode.com/fate
www.survivalcode.com/searching
www.survivalcode.com/unlock
CONFIRMED

We're assuming that these all come from different flavors, but confirmation (as well as the corresponding flavors & phrases) would be nice. Smile

Went to Walmart tonight and picked up my gum. Also picked up a pack of Vortex with the icefly on it. What's interesting is the expiration date on this pack is far from what is consistent with others.

That's right 19FEB12.

No camera, so no pictures, but I went out a bought three individual packs today. React2 had an expiration date of 30AUG12, Rain with 21AUG12, and Vortex with 19FEB12.

Not confirmed, but my Rain pack with the icefly said it is a limited edition design. I saw several other Cobalts in limited edition designs but didn't buy them because the expiration dates weren't late August.

EDIT: The entire box of react2 from Kroger had an icefly on it. I had to dig through the Rain and Vortex to find ones specifically marked.

Well I just checked my local Zellers, Zehrs, Shoppers Drug Mart, and Gateway news stand in the mall here (Canada), and the closest date I found was June 28/11 (put on the shelf in Zehrs that is), and the others - the ones I could spot expiry dates at least - had expiries from Feb'11 to Sep'11, I believe.
We also have plastic wrapping around our single boxes, but I don't think the labeling would cover the icefly emblem... (pic)
I don't know if this packaging will come to Canada (shipping is out of Wrigley's Canada in Toronto), and if it does it'll probably be a bit longer before they appear in stores Razz (especially if stock is only replaced when needed - Zehrs had some multi-pack 5Gum with February expiry..2011)

I'll have to keep checking around every couple of days, but I have yet to check a Walmart. I should get to one in the next day or two though.

Does anyone know if anyone in Canada has reported seeing the icefly packaging?

I haven't found any yet, but I haven't looked too hard. *IF* I find any, I will post it here right away.
Actually, I could PM you if you'd like, there is a lot of action in the TSN section, the post could get lost.

This was the back of the single packages:

By photos already shared, the icefly should be in the lower right of that image, ideally unobscured by the labeling.
No icefly here tho, on any that I checked out. The 3-multi-packs have opaque wrapping so couldn't check those. Couldn't find any with clearly marked expiry dates in 2012.

Also, yay french. Rolling Eyes Razz

@ Christien - yeah, better to keep topics relevant. The trailhead thread is a generic thread now, imo. Anything key/packaging related should be added to their respective threads.

Found 3 Vortex packs with iceflies at United Supermarkets, which I think is Texas regional. But it is perfectly convenient for me, since for one thing, they are one sale buy 1 pack get one free, and also they are in the middle of their Million Dollar Summer promotion and you get bonus tickets for buying 5 Gum, which I think is why it is on sale anyway. I won $2 in Million Dollar Summer for my gum purchase! So after all was said and done, I spent 40 cents on 4 packs, 3 with iceflies on them Razz I would recommend if you are in the Texas area, to check out United for them. They just last week got in shippers with the 3 packs and the singles, and I am just sure they have the iceflies on them. Good luck, hope this helps someone!

Well i just went to walmart and could only find 8 packs(lie, I found another pack of REACT^2 Mint but i realllllly didn't want to buy it because i'm probably not going to eat the mint like i would the fruit flavored ones) but anyways, i found 8 packs and typed in my codes and used 5 of them on the "Facility key" so YES you can get more facility key's, my guess is that you can probably get A LOT more, and that when we're actually in game we'll come to points where we'll need to buy more....I have a feeling we'll be dishing out some cash for this one

Hopefully tomorrow I can get out and actually find some iceflies. Sux, I feel a step behind without some keys/packs in the wings, and to top it off my laptop's charger is dead and I won't be able to order a new one till tomorrow, and there are a bunch of theories I want to test.

I'm fallin behind! =/

Well, hopefully it won't matter.

7-11 also carries 5gum, and since it's kept in the normal candy aisles, it's possible to search through the packs while looking a little less suspicious than at the counters. Laughing

Thanks for the heads-up on the 3packs, I'm heading to Target tonight!
