Nothing yet mate, have looked everywhere. Chances are we'll have to continue to rely on our stateside friends Smile

We should keep in touch with each other in case we find something. I'm gonna go on a Supermarket hunt here in Sheffield. I'll post on this thread if I see anything.

If we come up dry, maybe we could get our US friends to buy us some and pay them via paypal! They could then PM the codes to us and get to keep the tasty gum!!!

I cannot find this post anymore, but someone said you can get up to five test facility keys? I would like to know so I don't buy more than 11 packs for nothing.

I have 5.

You might be able to get more than 5.

Just called the Wrigley UK Customer service line. 5 React is not available in the UK yet and the young lady I talked to has no knowledge of any 'special packs' with codes or otherwise. We do have 5 gum and only 4 flavors at present. Rats cocks!!! Looks like the code trading thread for me!

Just an update from the UK;

Went to Morrisons, couldn't find any 5gum at all. Not sure they even sell it.

Sainsbury's do; they have single packs and three-packs, with expiration dates no later than Jun 12 that I've found yet. All of the wrappers have black plastic that would obscure where the icefly would be (assuming it's in the same place as on the US ones) which means you have to buy the pack to find out if there's anything in it or not.

Having said that, I bought single and triple packs of every flavour I could find and none of them had anything special about them. I can tell you that they changed their packaging between the March 12 and Jun 12 batches sometime. But not in anyway that helps the ARG, sadly.

They only stocked four different flavours in Sainsbury's. That's nowhere near the nine or so they have in America.

I'll keep looking (hope my husband doesn't get sick of gum anytime soon) and let you know if I find anything.

But I'm thinking if you're not in the US, you're not going to be able to collect your own codes. Which is sad. Sad

You can stop searching, it has been confirmed that this promotion is US only.

Actually that's word from the UK rep that it's not available there.

It's likely that it's US only, but there are many countries we don't yet know for sure (such as Canada Exclamation )

I just found that thread after I posted this. XD

But hey, since I made myself look very odd in front of the staff of Sainsbury's I'll leave up my account. After all, if there's no justification for it I'm just a loony who likes to check expiration dates on gum...

Hudson News said the same thing to me. I was going through the 5s (neatly) and they were like "ummmmm.."

Well just came back from a succesful hunt. I know Racetrack has them. (They actually all had fresh packs, but only a few boxes were the one's that had them.)
So I bought about 6 packs. I wish I knew what the clerks were thinking.

Also if we have a not likely list I would put 7-11 on it. Let's just say I think all their gum on their shelf is past the best by date.

Just bought another 8 packs, enough to finish off my constellations and get an extra facility key. I found them at a rest stop on the PA Turnpike for $1.69 per pack. I will be waiting to find cheaper multi-packs in the future. Very Happy

Just a few thoughts I'm going to tack on here.

I think it's really cool that this ARG is using QR codes as frequently as it is. It seems like a nod to the history of Wrigley, with Juicyfruit being the first product to have a barcode.

I've seen a handful of people express disappointment with the need to spend money to get codes, or spend money to play along in this game. I have no problem whatsoever with this.

This ARG, as it stands so far, is much different than a movie-based ARG. Think about Flynn Lives. We played a great game for free, got lots of great swag, and at the end of the game we all spent money on movie tickets and toys.

With this one, it's not like they can send a bunch of swag to everyone and at End Game everyone runs out and buys a pile of a newly released gum. It won't happen. I'm sure many will continue to buy 5gum afterwards and the exposure will be greater, but they need to get paid during this experience to make it work financially.

That said, if each participant is going to need to buy lots of gum to gain achievements, the burden will be on them to provide worthwhile entertainment and/or swag.

if you guys do live near a costco. get your gum there. its 9 bucks for ten packs and they have hundreds of them.

came back from costco with another 10 pack... codes are perfect unlike my last batch. 5 gum customer service still do not know what is up and won't give me codes for the botched ones...

Yeah, and how much are movie tickets these days? How many people saw the movie more than once? I think buying a certain amount of gum for FULL participation isn't asking much.
