First, Offene Gräber means 'open graves'. That's got my attention right off. But, it's following an archaeological dig team, so that makes sense.

An entry made today, July 9, by the theoretically missing Robert, contains the text
Quote:
Look closely

Play His game

and three images.

From 3.jpg, the kind of grassy one, the text reads:
Quote:
See(d|k) a heartbeat too the void that cries through you
Relive the pictures that have (??) past
For now we stand alone
The world is lost and blown
And we are flesh and blood (disintegrate)

With no more to Hate

Stuff in parens is stuff I can't quite make out. I think the first word is 'seed' or 'seek', and the one in the second line I can't tell at all. The last one I'm pretty sure is 'disintegrate', although it doesn't make much sense.

1.jpg, the sandstone-looking one, reads "HIDE AND SEEK". The image is not clickable, and the largest size of it appears to be 320x240, discovered by pissing around with the url and knowing how Blogspot stores images.

2.jpg, the piano, does not appear to contain text, at first glance, but in fact contains the words 'Harken to my symphony', in the top left.

Moving farther back, the entry describing the trunk, on June 28, does have the German text correctly translated, according to Google Translate:
Beweis für die Existenz des Ritters = Evidence for the existence of the Knight

Checking the profiles reveals nothing of interest on Everett's, aside from his email address ( ripeverettrobertsonSPLATlive.com ), but Robert's has a user image called 'Obscurity.JPG', which a bit more screwing around has rendered at full size. This image appears to be the white piano mentioned in Everett's entry on the sixth, which may or may not also be the piano in the most recent post.

And a bit more staring has revealed the white piano to be at the centre of 3.jpg

Trying again, here, having blown the image up a bit in Photoshop:
Quote:
(Need | Seed | Send) a heartbeat too the void that cries through you
Relive the pictures that have (come to) (past | pass)
For now we stand alone
The world is lost and blown
And we are flesh and blood (disintegrate)

With no more to Hate

I'm still pretty sure it's '*eed', because the shape of the smudge looks about the same in the second and third positions. However, the more I look at it, the more I doubt the 'S'. Attached image is just the text part of the image @ 300%, if anyone else wants to try to work that out...

[=EDIT=] Christ, I'm dumb. It's a Smashing Pumpkins song.

Poking Google with a fork for 'Harken to my symphony' yields this thread, first, and then a few links that lead back to a poem on DeviantArt, which I don't think has anything to do with the game. 'Hearken to my symphony' yields nothing.

Googling 'Klaus Gage' also yields nothing of interest, nor does 'Beweis für die Existenz des Ritters', which leads only back to this thread. 'Everett Felame' only brings up the blog. 'Robert Terbor' gives me two results on Facebook, both in the UK, but neither appearing to be the one we're looking for. And 'Everett Robertson', our Everett's father, is apparently a really common name.

Poking Robert, last night, has yielded some results. (Cordi-lion and Cordelea are the same user with two different accounts.) "Cor de Lea" has accepted the challenge and will play his game. I'll keep after Everett, to see what we can get there, although Robert's response to my comment does not leave me much faith that Everett will be commenting soon.

[=EDIT=] OH SHIT! The game is -on- ladies and gents! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OioZsyQPxQs

I've stripped out the sound, for anyone who'd like to play with it and try to get a decent transcription. So far, all I can make out is the last bit:
Quote:
(??) Everett. Don't expect to find Klaus any time soon.

Using Audacity to speed it up to 60, I get:
Quote:
(??)

[Voice on tape >] To whoever is going to play my little game ... (I must admit) (??) (pupils). (You'll be revealed soon enough). If you are agreeing to play my game, let me know in the comments on this video. I (must know). So good. (??) yourself. Play.

[Robert's voice? >] (Oh, and) Everett. Don't expect to find Klaus any time soon.

And then the last bit, above, is at normal speed, so it sounds like chipmunks. Still working on it, but I'm hard of hearing at the best of times, so I'd love it if someone else would take a shot at it.

I'm frowning in your general direction, quite strongly.

New video from Robert. Except, not. Black screen, audio only, five seconds. At first listen, it sounds like an answering machine tape on fast forward. But, there's definitely two voices, and at least one of them is reversed. One of them -- the longer one -- sounds like a little girl, or I haven't slowed it enough. I can't make out the words at all. The other is ... a young boy, maybe? That one says 'Oh, can (they) play? ... (Or--)'

If someone else would like to take a shot at the other voice, I'd be thrilled. Like I said above, I'm kind of hard of hearing, and this is extremely difficult for me.

Three files: The original, the girl(?), and the boy(?). I can't make the girl make sense at all. A couple things sound like words, but it sounds like she's got the mic in her mouth, the way it's so muffled.

I also played abit with it in audacity, before I read your post Methetabel.

The boys voice I also could make out, I understand: "I apologize."

The other is also just gibberish to me, just like you said. Can't make something out yet.

Strange, I will play with this later. Wink

P.S.: Also the boys voice (at the end of video) was reverse. Wink

Yikes! You're right. I seem to have slowed the boy down way too far, but he's already at a different speed than the other voice, which I'm still trying to get anything from.

I'm going to offer my half-deaf translation of as much of the girl as I can:
Quote:
That's the thing. You're not supposed to even do it. (pause)
That's not the point, you see. (pause) The minute (??) gets caught. (pause)
Or (??) caught. (pause)
But... (pause) Now who in this theory (??) is the first friend. (pause)
But, I mean (pause) if you can (??) couldn't it? (pause)
(??) test this thought. (pause) (breath) To change the thing's meaning.
(tone) (tape stop)

I believe she's reversed from the original, and I definitely used noise reduction, as soon as I could parse the accent, at all, but it hasn't helped much.

[=EDIT=] Robert asks: "Are you sure you are on the right track?" I'm going to go make an attempt at the -right- channel of the file, in the hopes it'll be clearer than the left.

[=EDIT=] And we've just been beat to the punch by Everett. I'm not certain I'm pleased by this turn of events. And for extra hilarity, the URL of the latest post implies that the original title of the post was not 'Well done!' but 'Well done, Robert!'.
