I know I know: reviving an old thread, bitchbitchbitch. Hear me out on this.

The totally faceless Operator with the red tie and broad shoulders only appears late at night or in darkness in entry 26 and has the original traditional of Slenderman. ALSO, this is the Operator that actually moves and runs like in entry 4.

The black tied Operator with the nose, ears, and eye-dents only appears in broad daylight and never once moves. I guess we got our new Slendy all the way back in entry 29 and didn't realize it.

I'm still somewhat convinced that the "different" ties are effects from the lightning. [/nottryingtostartanargument]

Two Operators sounds interesting, though. I'd normally reject the theory, but the facial imprints of Mr. "Black" Tie that Red Tie lacks seems to be evident that there might actually be two different Operators.

In one of the other threads, Xicon linked to a video he made in which he demonstrates that red ties can look black when you turn the lights out; but that's what led me to my epiphany: we've only seen each tie color in the polar opposite of the conditions he experiments with.

Does The Operator make any noise? Is he silent, or is that whining, hissing interference sound we often hear when he's around not part of the electronic disturbance, but instead directly from him?

So far, Slendy hasn't made any sounds that I can think of. He just screws with your head and films

There is some speculation that the distorted-sounding "Hello" that Jay hears back in Entry #23 might be the Operator exhibiting some sort of parroting ability... so that's a "maybe" at least.

^I hope that's true, because that's creepy as fuck. Imagine if they tried to talk to The Operator, but he can only respond with things he's heard people say (like Transformers' Bumblebee minus the radio).

Or creepier, Pontypool, where the people exactly mimic others, creepy as shit.

So far there's only been two instances of the Operator "talking."

1. Entry 23 in the Basement of Doom.
2. That random voice in Entry 29 (although I could be wrong).

If the Operator does indeed have a mimicking ability, it's memory for such things seem to be short-term. We never hear the Operator talking at any other times.

I suppose if we found out who's voice that was in Entry 29, then we'd probably have the owner of that pool of blood.

If they were still alive!
And I wonder if Slenderman has thin blood?

So, I don't actually know if this has been brought up before, But I was just sitting here thinking about the name "The Operator." More specifically, why he was called it. What does the word operator mean? "a person who operates a machine, apparatus, or the like"

Now, TTA, accounting for his name, could actually be seeking an Ark.If it at all needs to be used or driven or what have you, who better to do so then The Operator? Maybe Slenderman is actually the only one who can operate the Ark? Maybe this could account for why TTA is helping J? He's using him as bait, stringing him along without putting himself in harms way, guiding the operator to the ark, so that it can be activated.
