Haha, yeah it looks like Slendy just got out of bed for this haunting :p
Interesting choice, going with a reflective white material for the mask instead of a matte material. Or is that just a result of the camera?

How to build a slenderman:
1. get a mannequin.
2. Put a black suit on it with a red (or black, doesn't matter which) tie.
3. Attach fake tentacles to its back.
and the finishing touch...
...
...
PUT 20 DOLLARS IN IT'S FRONT POCKET! XD
Umad?

zbeeblebrox, it's a morphsuit.
It must be the photography result, because as you see, the hands look fine. I used vignette on my htc to take the pic.

Oh and Slendy is me, btw.

Thought I'd revive this with my own take on how to build a Slenderman (: since not everybody who makes vlogs has a big budget, I think I'd add a few cheap tricks.

First I would buy a Styrofoam mannequin head like the one HERE.
Then I'd probably cover it with plaster and smooth it out, just so it doesn't look so shiny. Preferably, cover the eye sockets more than what is on the head model, as Slendy is not suppose to have eyes.
Preferably use a headless mannequin as a base, the cheapest one I could find is here, then using iron wire I would build a platform base to secure the head a little higher than the shoulders.
If a Mannequin can not be available, then it is possible to use a mixture of wood (or piping) and iron wire to build a human form. Preferable if done that way you use the iron wire in a way to shape the human anatomy, like the chest and shoulders. The plus side to this way is that you can make your Slenderman as big as you want and can even extend the arms.
Also, if using wood, since this isn't suppose to be something that should last 10 years or something, I would just use any wood that you could probably find out back by stores and such. No need to spend all this money on buying wood when it only needs to last two years, min. I can't find a tutorial online on how to do this, though you just need a fairly simple design, probably using no more than 5-8 pieces of board. The iron wire would be doing most of the work, like adding definition in the chest, arm, and leg area.
For the suit I would recommend going to any thrift places like Goodwill to get a hold of a dusty suit combination, I think the oldness to the suit might add some validity to any series. Get at least an XL because you would need the length, especially if you are not using a mannequin and have a pretty long Slenderman. To make him appear skinny, on the inside of the suit, just taper it in the back using safety pins or something. Shoes are optional as I don't think many people would use feet shots of Slendy. Though I would recommend a red tie over a black one.

Or if you wish to use a human model instead, obviously pick someone who is 6' or above. If not, the height can still be achieved through camera angels, standing on boxes, stilts, stuff like that. For the head, I would use several layers of the foot part of white pantyhose, like in the url provided. If anybody has dark hair, that should be covered up before putting on the pantyhose over the head.

I agree with you. Sadly, if you don't know a tall person, you'll need to be a bit more stealthy. My series has an actor for Slender Man, but he isn't particularly tall, so we need to use all sorts of tricks to make him appear more impressive. If he needs to walk, you could strap six inch blocks of wood to his shoes. It won't be easy to walk around in, but it's better than nothing. If he just needs to stand still, than have him stand on something. We've used chairs and guitar amplifiers for this. As for the face, use enough layers, and even darker hair will be obscured. If a little shows up, you can use distortion. Or you could have your Slendy wear a hat, which would be really cool.

This just makes me want to put a bowler, monocle, and a cravat on him and call him Slenderchap. Maybe film a whole series in sepia.

If I lived anywhere that I could reliably do locations that I could fake up as 19th century urban, I absolutely would. I might have to leave this for the Old World slenderfans out there. Or maybe someone in New England.

For my series, we had a friend in a suit with a white t-shirt thrown over his head then clipped/rubber-banded in the back. The face looked fine and dandy, it was just terrible to try to get the creases out. Now we're using a sort of white head-blanket and fastening that down with white pantyhose, to not only smooth out the wrinkles but also to give the face a sense of mixed whites, like Slendy has in some photos and such.

As for height, everyone is correct with using stilts. You could use painters stilts to make him REALLY tall, but that's just an option. Arms should be long too, and if you have them, you could use pool-noodles (or floaties or foam-noodles or whatever they are) to elongate the arms. You'd just have to straighten them out a bit (unless Slendy is supposed to have wicked curvy arms).
