The party or parties that own said building from last years Flynn's Arcade pretty much just rent it out during comic-con for short period of times and the like because they make enough money from that, rather than occupy it regularly. At least that's what I understood from a conversation last year.

It was a restaurant for a minute after last years Comic Con - but I havent been down that street in like 8 months and it doesnt surprise me that it closed down. It is San Diego Gaslamp and you pretty much have to be amazing or a sports bar/grill to make it down there.
We could have our own party with in Comic Con with black jack and hookers.

Screw the comicon, and the blackjack!
They probably would like rent it out to long term tenants, but for the time being, the best they can do is short term high-price rentals. That is pretty common for So-cal right now.

Just got my confirmation email for SDCC today... Love this part:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Volunteer 1-day badge * FREE $0.00
TOTAL NO CHARGE
It says I can go all 4 days, but I may just go one day due to health problems my dad has.
Which day would you all recommend?

If this is too OT and not appropriate to post here, let me know and I'll edit it out, but you could make a TRON/BAB5 connection.
And since there is only 50 copies, I figured I'd post it to help give any unFictioner a heads up in getting one.
According to www.isnnews.net:

PAT TALLMAN BABYLON 5 SCRAPBOOK
Here's a note from Pat on her new book:
My new book "Pleasure Thresholds; Patricia Tallman's Babylon 5 Scrapbook" will be premireing at SDCC ( San Diego Comic Con ). (cash only) and include a special Comicon signature page. Come to see me Friday AA10 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. or Sat AA1 3pm-4pm . Please send me a message on the FB page so I can hold a book for you! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Patricia-Tallman/128609907215548.

I wen to this last year and this year it was pretty awesome, Sat is the day to go though if you like panels and the bands playing. That video pinball Tron was custom made by fans and is amazingly well done, I played it a few times, I spent a good hour on the Tron arcade game ,(finally made it to level 4), but despite waiting in line twice for the tron pinball game never got to play it. both times I git tired of waiting with so many other games free nearby.

They always have the subject to change without notice, and sadly it does. At least you knew before you went he wouldn't be there.

22nd I will be at Yardhouse at 5pm with The Nerd machine crew. theres like 25 of us for dinner. I shouldnt be busy on the 21st.. just a few TNM stuff.. That would be nice to go to Flynns old building and meet up there and find something to eat..like at the cartoon network place.. thats where some of us met during the ARG last year.
