 		Perhaps, but this is the only lead we've got so far to go on, unless people have found another avenue to explore for the keyword/passphrase to crack the emily.txt.

Plus, even though this joke is annoying as hell, I think it's getting a little interesting. I sure wish I could figure out what come next...

FYI I asked LAINSY to interpret the logic statement of the first joke:

I asked LAINSY what Genus Orein accepted. Hopefully this goes somewhere... nope, nowhere.

Yeah, I think this last cipher will basically tell us to eff everything up and contact Genus, messing up his mess-up. Or, it will tell us not to mess it up. I'm really unsure at this point.

I've emailed Marie and Xander about Emily and the joke, respectively.

All we know about Emily Rain is she was head AI programmer for LAINSY. I've used EMILY/RAIN AND RAIN/EMILY for key/pass, and several AI/LAINSY derivatives.

We also know she had a daughter named Scarlet who she named the current build of Lainsy after. And that the little girl was likely Orein's.

 		Ok, my friend who always points out the obvious things we never see just told me, "What if this one's double encrypted or encoded? That makes it harder, right?"

Yeah, like waaaaaaaay harder... I think I'll call my friend "POTOWDS" or "Points out the obvious we don't see" but then again... he can still be wrong... we'll have to see... I'm doing my best to crack the emily file... *gasp*

 		All the files we've seen OREIN and ITERATION plus some others have all been encoded with a keyed vinegere (Trust me if it was normal there is a brute force way you can crack them.) Now the combinations can make it confusing and plus the three options that are used on some with no occuring frequency.

 		Emily.txt was posted way later than all the other files. It was posted all by itself as far as I can tell. We may not even have the words we need to crack it.

 		Well just in case I requested more information from Alex on Emily to see if we could get a clue to the keys (I specifically said to just include important stuff that he thought Orein might have used keys for:

Then, years later as you know, Rain was moved to the LAINSY development team. Then from there, I didn't know much anymore since the company was getting so big so fast that I can' keep track of things that's happening. And then, I just remember hearing Rain being pregnant and having a daughter. No one told me who the father was, but I didn't bother to ask. I assume it's Orein since they were still pretty much going together and all. And that's as far as I know between them. Oh, and yes her daughter was named Scarlet. And then they just went missing about a year after LAINSY version 3 was launched. Which you probably already figured is named after Scarlet, and up until now is still our current version with just some minor updates and so on.



So I don't know if that helps anyone.

Also the wiki has finally been tidied up by the PM's.

How long have I been gone? A week or so?

Alex has already briefed me with the current situation. I am still
confused, mostly because I can't comprehend what he's saying to me, but
also because WHAT THE HECK IS GENUS PLANNING?! I know Alex told me Genus
needs to get to that place, planet, whatever. But, what's the point? I
still can't comprehend.

Can someone explain to me, in simpler words, what happened, and what's
about to happen or what we're waiting to happen? Because none of my
staff could explain it to me either.
