Ok, the forensics investigations our agents performed was quite informative. Since we don't have any camera video to check, they had to reply on any unusual details on the facility. Initial inspection of the path the infiltrators took seemed like they were only aiming to get to LAINSY's core. However, further inspection shows that some of them took a different path. Somehow, most of those who took a different path went around the safe locks area of the facility. We couldn't fully inspect what they took from the safe locks, but we could soon discover that once Alex does accounting of items in secondary storage. Let's hope Alex get's things organized so that he can do that.

Also, aside from the obvious Scarlet core they took, they also took some memory storage modules from LAINSY. I suspect whatever's in those modules are of importance, possibly related to any item they took form the safe locks.

What's sad is that we couldn't get any helpful indentificative detail on their trail such any organic leftovers (hair, skin, blood, etc) to figure out who exactly they are, and possible to prove if they are indeed from the future. It is quite possible that they wore protective suits to prevent this, or that they have some advanced technology that allows removal of such leftovers.

Investigation, however, is cut short since Alex has already deployed people into the facility. That's as much information I could provide you from what we have. The best we could do is get more information from Genus and Emily, or have Alex provide information on whatever's taken from the safe locks.


Guess we just wait to hear from Genus now. Unless something else crazy happens.

 		Yeah, the lainsySPLATfailtechnologies.com address is back up, Arnold can't really answer queries that require access to databases yet (since the databases are all gone), but I"m sure you can talk to him.

EDIT - I'm trying to explain to Arnold what's going on. So far he's asked me to define Orkudusu. This is as best as I could define it (I am so bad at these explanations sorry!!):

Looks like it'll be done soon? I've set Arnold to try and track down Genus, Emily, or Pedro. Maybe that'll give some clue as to where Scarlet is.

Also I asked Arnold about what it means by "database locked out". For the GEOSAT and DSN, that meant that the wipe database command was rejected and that executed a lockout.

Looks like Alberta Facility got hit pretty hard, so that's interesting.

FYI that I told Arnold to track down Genus, Emily, and Pedro. So 'user' = me. No idea how how long tracking will take without the GEOSAT network (which, like the DSN, appears to be in lockdown).

I asked Arnold what might have been contained in the missing data storage modules that were also taken along with Scarlet. His response:

A status report from Alex:

I do apologize if it took me long to reply. I was busy managing the people here at the Colorado Facility. Yes, I did move back here, and most security locks are down. However, good news is that were able to get Arnold up and running and he's been able to eject controls of the safe locks from LAINSY into manual mode. Which means safe locks, at least for now, will be monitored and supervised manually by some of our very dedicated FAILTECH employees who were happy to return to service.

Thankfully, resources from the three companies (BI, KE, and DC) were enough to persuade those who are still willing to help us out.

I have been in contact with Don, and he is now negotiating the release of FAILTECH's assets so that we can again operate properly. This is probably the biggest downfall of the company (hopefully no more in the future) and it has taught me some lessons. I'll just probably keep those lessons to myself, since they mostly reflect to me.

What worries me now is what will happen next? I know FAILTECH is now in a very bad publicity. I can't deny that. It's in the news, if you happen to be watching the right channel. Don was able to suppress some of the bad publicity, but most still get through. I can't blame him, neither can I. But what we need right now is get thing back up, maybe not as high as before, but at least get things working.
Looks like he's ready to help us if it means getting FAILTECH back up and running?

Finally, I had asked Patrice if she had a way to talk to Emily (since she was in contact with her prior to the 45459 business). She replied and also found something interesting:

However, they don't work right now. I suspect they only work if Emily's device is active (or in range) so contacting her right now is a dead end. But I'll update you once we get something up.

Anyways, I received reports that some of the Byruniuku's communication lines are active. We still haven't figured out why, but we do suppose that some of them are back here on Earth. Any ideas?

 		I only got the update from Patrice, and she mentioned the communication lines as well. Honestly, I have no clue why they're still monitoring FAILTECH. Maybe they didn't get what they wanted after all?

 		I still wonder until now, what the name of Patrice's company/organization who is monitoring stuff and wants information? Maybe she can offer a little bit of compromise by at least telling us that and maybe some small additional information about their organization.

Ok, we have three things to accomplish here. One is get Scarlet back. I know I might have made this detail mostly between the lines since the start but it's just for her own safety. Yes, she is indeed human, and is our daughter (me and Emily). Our life has been mostly keeping the biggest things completely out of plain sight. Like me, I've always kept my problem to myself but with Alex's help most of the plans to try and fix things had been initiated. Along with your help from the start, I was able to keep everyone busy with the details while the bigger things happen out of plain sight. Now, Emily, she just had to go underground for a while to be able to acquire the needed information just to be able to target the right people at the right time with the right plan. And of course Scarlet. One of the biggest secrets that has remained completely out of plain sight but has always been there from the start. I'm sure you share my motivation to get here back. She's not just a piece of hardware. she's our daughter and probably a friend for you guys as well. So I do hope you're down in getting her back.

Ok, next thing. I'm sure you haven't forgotten that collapsing timeline you guys have gotten into and out from. It's nearly hopeless there, but there's still hope. I'll be discussing that detail later on.

And third, but probably not the last, we need to help out or friend Winston in getting 45459 into his proper place. Winston hasn't discolsed much information, but I'll tell you some of what he has already told me. He says he'll disclose more when the time comes.

There has never been a name for 45459. He is a nameless entity who has only been deligated one task and that is to carry out information from one cycle to another. We're already on the seventh, and of course that's already nearly hundreds of millenias that has passed and erased as a new cycle begins. Due to the nature of human evolution, humans are the best way to transport information from one cycle to another. Humans have evolved with better DNA structures than any other lifeform in the known universe. Due to DNA's capability to store information that can be passed from one generation to another, it allows seamless and nearly invisible transfer of information from those who wish to misuse the information contained within. And that's where Winston and his organization comes in. They plan to protect the Jhuku from harm and do their best to make sure the Jhuku can keep up with his obligations. Of course, we still have to determine what the mistake was during the second cycle which makes any cycles from that point and further to result in failures. It's a big topic and we'll discuss that further later on.

For now, maybe let's just focus on Scarlet and getting FAILTECH back. This world could have been different without FAILTECH. For good or for worse, what do you think?

 		Sorry for being MIA for a while. I got the same message from genus and got an email from Arnold. I was asking him if he had a bio-AI core as well.

I do not possess any central processing unit and operate in a true networked environment. Unlike Scarlet, I do not have a master AI core that performs primary operations. All of my operations are performed individually and independently on all nodes. It doesn't matter if a node goes down, I can operate with as little as one active node. However, each node has it's own distinct functions depending on which hardware is available at that location. My function availability fully depends on which nodes are available to me at a given time.


So, as soon as I can get to my computer later (on my phone right now), I'll ask a little more about level 12 security. Maybe we can get clearance so we'll know what we are dealing with.
