Just in case no one has noticed, yet, the contact form on their new site has posted a phone number. Anyone could try and call I suppose? Seems like a US based number, so I dunno, I'm from canada.... if they had their main office from canada, why not have a canadian number instead? I would definitely try to call them if they did.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
210 900-3245

EDIT: Looks like we'll need to call them at some point if they did setup a phone number just for this....

So, looks like FAILTECH part 2 is Live. Got this email from Dan 15 minutes ago. Now I'm in Canada, so I'd rather not call long distance to do this, but if my curiosity eats away at me before anyone else calls to get the password, I'll bite.

The Email:

Good day Experts Team! I have have attached an encrypted report that has summarized the findings of our investigation the pas week since the incident. I didn't want for anyone to intercept this message and get hands on the report and thus I have encrypted and self-signed the document to make sure only you can read it, and that the information is not modified.

I will not go into detail, as I have already put into the report what I need to say so far. Please leave me a voicemail at our company number (210) 900-FAIL (or 210-900-3245, which is a USA number based on Texas) and LAINSY will then forward your voicemail to me. I will then call you back, and hopefully you answer or that you have voicemail, so that I can tell you the password for the report. I do not want to put here the password as it will just be stupid if I put the encrypted file together with the password to decrypt it.

Make sure you mention your name as I know it, as indicated here in the email, so that I will know if it is you. Make sure you mention something that only you and I know, and is not too revealing if ever someone can overhear it. This is to verify that I am calling the right person. As soon as I get your message, and number, I will call back with the password and mention nothing else. Also, make sure you clearly state that you wanted the message to be delivered to me so that LAINSY can properly sort the message.

Good luck, and I will get in touch very very soon!

I called and left a message. Waiting on reply.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You get to hear LAINSY's voice when you leave a voicemail.

EDIT: Just got the call back. He left a voicemail. The password is "line birds" ,...I think. It was kind of hard to understand .

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It was actually Daniel that left the message

EDIT2: Well, that's not the password as it won't open the file. It's got to be close to that though.

EDIT3: Okay, found it. Password for the file is "flyingbirds"

Sent Daniel an email and got a reply giving some information about what was taken from the facility.

Quote:
I just transferred my connection over to my personal network so that no FAILTECH or spy can intercept my email. I was at the office when I sent the previous email, so I didn't want anyone to intercept it. By the way, I'm in Texas right now and has filed the same report with the rest of the board. I'm heading back to the facility tonight, and hopefully my technicians are able to finish the recovery work.

Item C is probably the most dangerous experiment we have ever had. It has killed over two dozen of our scientist who has worked on it, and the entire research was shutdown. The Flesh Oxidation Reactant Bacteria (FOxR-B) eats away living tissue, quite literally. It's not an acid, but it's a living bacteria that creates a special chemical compound that allows it oxidize living tissue, such as human skin or any other human part. During the oxidization process, the chemical compound separates the necessary nutrients the bacteria needs to survive and replicate, and the heat of the oxidization speeds up the processes. This is why any small contact in this bacteria is highly dangerous and leads to death within seconds as it can quickly "dissolve" the skin and quickly penetrate to the blood stream and travel through the entire body while replicating at high speed. So quite literally, it dissolves you from human into chemical compound in a matter of seconds. It's the most horrifying death one can experience and one can watch happen. It is of the highest priority that this bacterium be returned safely and not released into the wild. Also, other than human tissue, it can also oxidize other living things, such as animals and plants, making it very difficult to kill and completely exterminate. Although it can be killed by normal means, like any other bacteria, there's almost no way it can be stopped once it has started to oxidize something.

Item D is the Human Tissue Regeneration Agent (or HTR Agent), which is quite the opposite of the FOxR-B. The HTR Agent speeds up human tissue regeneration, and allows faster healing of wounds, and such. However, the HTR Agent is still unstable at it's current state and the human tissue regeneration is uncontrollable once started. Which is why the the board has decide to temporarily suspend the use and experiments of with the HTR Agent until the team in charge figures out a way to control the tissue regeneration caused by the HTR Agent. It's a promising medical discovery, however, it's still years away from being complete.

Item E is a highly classified experiment that has been invested in by the Russian government. I cannot disclose much about it, but as it's name suggest, the Tuncarma project is indeed what the title says.

That's all I can say, and I hope it gives you an insight of how worse things are goings right now.

Your message was received. Our team is not familiar with some of the items listed on the report, specifically items c, d, and e on number 3 of your list of findings. We understand that information regarding these items is, no doubt, closely guarded. However, knowing the nature of these items may help us if you find that our assistance is needed with your investigation. We are standing by to assist.

Just read the email. Left a voicemail. Waiting.

Dan called me before my exam. Indeed, it is the same password; he signed the document too, with his linked email.

Also, I'm digging the Sawmill song from the website a lot!

I think (based on what we know right now) they are somewhat like a ripoff or spinoff of Umbrella corp... that's the closest I could think of... although, they are at a much larger scale (I think) with the kinds of products they produce... also, like they claim who they are, they are mostly a researcha nd development company... kinda like aperture science... hmmm, that's the best I could think of

So, another email. this time NOT from Dan. Interesting twist. Also, I seem to be the only person awake when the PM sends emails. lol.

To summarize, this new player knows where Orein went, but won't tell us. and he wants us to use the poem to reboot LAINSY. I wonder if we should take a vote on whether to do that, or alert Dan to this guy's intentions. I sent back an email offering to reboot LAINSY if he told us where Orein went, but he turned me down. What do you guys think?

Email below; I've included the email address it was sent from.

What a beautiful hot day it is in North America. I seriously doubt it will go away soon, so just relax inside your house and keep quiet.

I was able to intercept Mr Miller's email he sent to all of you yesterday. Hahahaha, I'd seriously laugh at how he tried to encrypt the report in Microsoft Word. Seriously though, I broke that encryption an read his report. While I say it is catastrophic to loose such valuable research work and prototypes, I know there's more to come for FAILTECH than they think. Of course, I know you're thinking right now, "Who the hell is this guy emailing me like he knows everything?"

Oh but, I do know everything. And please, I didn't do it, but I know who did. I won't tell you though. I mean, it wouldn't be fun if I broke the suspense. Maybe, you should have followed Orein's advice?

The moment the website went back, LAINSY accepts messages through it's email address. If you send it the reboot sequence, it WILL initiate a reboot. Maybe you're asking why won't I do it myself? Well, I don't want to get my hands dirty here. Let's just say it's much more fun to watch other people. It's like, reality TV, just without the TV.

The choice is still yours. Who do you trust now?

P.S. I know where Orein is, or at least I think I know where he might go. Oh, and I won't tell you.

I seriously want to see what will happen if we reboot LAINSY. But that's just wrong as to what Dan has already told us. So I'm torn up right now.

Ok, I'll vote for the right thing and let's just tell Dan...

EDIT: Is it just me or does it feel weird that this guy calls LAINSY "it" while I got used to Dan calling LAINSY "her" or "she"
