 		I use an app on my phone from Hotpaw that seems to work pretty well. Good job so far. Busy right now, but I'll check back this evening and see if I can lend a hand.

First of all, the fact that these two haven't communicated immediately raises eyeballs due to the fact that Dan has supposedly just arrived in Toronto, the same location of this Marie person. Second, Dan has been actively emailing us these last 24 hours. i really don't know who to believe here.

EDIT: And, to add to the Aperture confusion, FAILTECH just made this @reply to Aperture, adding to the confusion as they acknowledge the game (Portal 2) by referencing it.

 		I'm new but have been watching since the beginning. This email doesn't sound like Dan. It almost sounds like him but not quite. Something has happened to Dan IMO.

Looks like hex to me.

EDIT2: Not immediately hex or dec/char. I'll find an octal decoder and try that.

EDIT3: Not octal.

EDIT4: Tried bouncing between hex and dec/char and vice/versa. Just kept spitting out gibberish either way. Not sure how to decode this one.

My take: Alex wants Dan out of the way but thinks we're too handy a resource to give up, or needs us for some reason. He gets Dan's email account and is using it to pretend to be Dan and give us jobs to do while keeping his "OWN" hands clean just in case he needs to contact us as him again.

It doesn't have to be him, Alex, but I am suspicious...

 		That's pretty much what I was thinking zobot, I think Dan has been "terminated" in one way or another and Alex or perhaps another entity at FAILtech is keeping us on their hook because we're a valuable asset. In fact the more I think about it the more I suspect that it's someone else within the company, not Alex.

 		You transcribed the morse wrong. It is strict decimal form, which is decoded to have a text form that matches hex, decode it as hex, and you get an encrypted text message. Currently trying all common cipher tools.

Edit--Message is an encrypted RAILFENCE cipher:

 		Holy shitake! Guys, I need some feedback. I entered the proper logic, but I have two options:

Edit--I committed to permanent memory... don't hurt me if something goes wrong. I couldn't wait.

I mean, at least that's what I understood from the last messages from Genus... like we have to "tell" LAINSY about the images... I'm guessing she can't understand just pure image. She's an AI, so I guess we can actually talk to her, right?

Honestly, LAINSY was very specific about how I sent that logic, so I think it has to be in text form. The problem is, the other images don't seem to be logic, just random words or numbers. Maybe the SS image could be sent as logic?
