 		Well the thread hasn't been updated, so here's a summary:

Melaney went to cook today. She tried to leave. I didn't see her. But I know she did. I checked while she was sleeping. Her disk man has no batteries. But why would she want to hear him, unless she is talking to Roivas again. It didn't help Scott. Why would it help her? It won't find us. I replaced the batteries in walkman. We will be OK.

And my own, silly, theory:

My current theory is that these three people (Scott, Melaney and the journal writer) were being harassed by Help3r, Roivas, and Slendy - but also that Caught and Natalie are Help3r and Roivas (though I'm unsure which is which).

So Caught and Natalie and Slendy were harassing these guys, then something major happened, and they lost their memories?

Though now that I think about it that doesn't account for who is harassing Caught and Natalie now, unless they're both harassing each other without realising it. Perhaps the tables were turned, and Scott and Melaney took over being Roivas and Help3r?

And where does Slendy fit into this? Who's side is he on?

 		It mentions Walkman, and Discman, which is a cassette player and a CD player, respectively. This puts the journal around the late '80s early '90s era. Another connection is the massive amounts of cassette tapes in the coffin. Caught must have found their final belongings.

To me, it sounds like their names are very similar for a reason; possibly to suggest that Melaney and Scott were replaced by Natalie and Caught, in some vicious cycle of Slendy torment.

Riovas and Helper might be the same people, though, trying to meet some end so far unexplained.

I'm loving the idea of blocking Him out with music, too.

I'm a little skeptical. some of "The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets" and a terrifying, eldritch horror simply can't get you? Then how did this guy get cut off mid-sentence?

 		It's probably more of amental thing, block slendy out by not thinking of him, don't think about him by playing music. obviously it didn't work, otherwise...

There's also interesting stuff going down on the YouTube channel concerning it.

- The third night: wow, that's properly excellent. CNS is now in my personal top three.

- There's some real interesting stuff coming out in the YouTube comments and on Twitter.

- On the YouTube side: Caught might be a bit more messed up than he lets on. The erroneous date at the start was two months out. Caught corrected himself in the description... but was still clearly a month out, though I think that was an OOG error because the comment where I pointed this out was deleted and the date changed again to after the house visit.

- On the Twitter side: Caught and Natalie are falling out, badly, over the latest address. I got confirmation that Natalie that Caught isn't just derping the whole police thing - he does not want them involved, point-blank refuses to say why, and threatens to leave Natalie if she calls them. For her part, Natalie thinks going to the house is moronic but Caught is going to go without her.

- I suggested to Natalie that she should draw a line in the sand and tell Caught that if he goes to that house, she'll be getting the police involved and showing them the kidnapping video, which ought to be enough to convince them that IRL crimes have taken place. This might backfire and lead to them breaking off relations with each other entirely, but I'm hoping it'll force Caught to realise that he can't high-handedly freeze Natalie out of the decision-making. If they've both got their red lines that mustn't be crossed on pain of Mutually Assured Butthurt, that will hopefully force them to negotiate rather than fight all the time.

 		I noticed something else interesting has happened.. I was re watching "Sleepwalking" and I noticed one of us: Tiro1000 posted a video response if memory serves I haven't seen another ARG allow video responses to their entries, so either there is a new player in this drama, or the fan interaction in CNS continues to surprise...

It reminded me of what manifestations of ectoplasm in seances are supposed to look like. Which prompted me to toy with theories about Caught being a medium who isn't aware of his abilities, hence the bizarre manifestations (due to the psychic pressure building up without release), hence the interest shown in him by supernatural persons.
