That video was really intense and well-executed, I really enjoyed it, but
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
CHESS? Why? I have faith that the creators can put an interesting and original spin on it, but I'm still surprised that they would use it, considering all the recent hubbub around TribeTwelve and Osiris Chronicles.

Well done video. Creepy as hell. Really creepy. I would never stick around something like that, that long.

I actually find this series more genuinely frightening than any of the others.
They really have a good grasp on how to create tense, edge-of-the-seat situations. And they always seem to be pretty unpredictable as well.

Kudos.

(and she brought a pick, too... not bad!)

It looked like some sort of fancy glass jar, similar to something one might find perfume in? It also reminds me of that one little jar caught found in the coffin, different shape/size but that's what comes to mind.

That video was a lot to take in. I actually found myself pulling away from the screen.

From what I've seen, the thing moving around the forest looked a lot like the dead body. As for what a dead body with a bag over his head is doing in the forest with a chessboard with some pieces, you got me. I can't tell for sure, but i think the rope on the body was connected to the bag, but it could have been a noose.

Wish i knew anything about about chess, and chess pieces.

Ok...SlenderNation and the butterflies have done some theorizing recently.

For a start, the monitors with Puppet!caught demonstrate three phases of his personality. the first is wearing the bright jacket that Happy!Caught was wearing, so that would be caught before slendy came. After that comes the angry looking puppet, which we suspect is showtime!caught and the third monitor is how caught was after roivas/someone else wiped his memory to try and stop his showtime personality becoming the only one left. Now we are witnessing him slip back into Showtime!Caught, due to slenderman influence.
The puppet that broke free in "The Umbrella" was the Showtime!Caught puppet.
This is a problem for me, as showtime has made it very clear that he wishes to kill me D:

Also, this latest video contains a few noteworthy points. For one, the corpse keeps shouting out natalie's name among other phrases such as "I'm over here". The chessboard has "Soon" in roivascode, drawn in blood and the corpse is, I think, a conjuration of roivas' rather than a showtime kill as it doesn't fit the MO and the chessboard is a roivas thing (he had one in a previous video)

However the gorepit near the park does sound a bit like Showtime...It has been previously stated that he leaves corpses for children to find D:

I thought about this theory, and I don't think thats quite right.

The puppets, I believe is Roivas's. I remember that cabin with the hair puppet, and that little note Roivas left about "We're upstairs". Now, that could have met Him and slendy, but it's possible it was those puppets, and Roivas.

The three puppet-three personality kinda reminds me of the Freud's theory of the psyche. Id, Ego, Superego. The Id is human desire, human want, unbridled urge only controlled by Ego. It could be that the puppets are a representation of Caught's psyche, and Showtime is his Id.

Roivas visited the butterfly tinychat!
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
- Roivas enters chat -
Roivas: Hello, butterflies. Dear Plexippus, you see the world before you own but are not quite aware of it's
- Asked if Roivas was a/the little girl thought to be in the latest video. -
Roivas: I am aware of no little girl. Are you sure you saw what you say?

What was in the jar(s)?
Roivas: the end of what once lived.

Laparus: We need to wait for Natalie to watch the tape then.
Roivas: Laparus you are kind, and as ever a rare creature. Why is it we can not see you?" (to Euphaedra)

- when asked Euphaedra's meaning -
Roivas: Euphaedra, you are named for the vibrant and wise soul you possess

Laparus: What is the liquid for; what does it do?
Roivas: Please wait, Laparus. With more of you I have been given more choices, I choose to answer a question unasked.

- when asked Antiopa's meaning -
Roivas: Antiopa, you are named as one that will find stregnth in the family. Do not stray far from home.

What was with the contents of the box?
Roivas: there is more to me than you understand. It is not necessary for me to follow all of the rules you must.

What's your opinion of Caught?
Roivas: He is important.
Roivas: <=^D
lycaena: Reverse Showtime face!
Roivas: Do not fear that which stands against us.

- when asked Inachis's meaning -
Roivas: Inachis, firstly you are adorable. You are named for that which is playful to a fault. Powerful, yet in need of guidance.

Roivas: Caligo, you have great taste in hats. You are named as that which hides in plain sight, an invisible asset.

Why is it that Showtime stands against us? Is there a proper reason, or is Showtime just a jerk?
Roivas: As I draw strength from you, as you do from me. even if you are unaware of this.
Make us aware?
Roivas: I cannot.

How is inachis meant to prepare?
Roivas: Stick close to lycaena, and learn from example.
Laparus: Was I meant to protect Glaucopsyche, or were we all?
Roivas: You. Distance is not as relevant as you seem to think.

Are you saying Showtime is a state of mind?
Roivas: It is very real.

Did you or your handiwork make an appearance in the last video posted on the Caughtnotsleeping channel?
Roivas: of course. I delivered the jar, and the tape"
But you weren't there physically?
Roivas: I cannot fully control the following tides of all my actions.
Xuch: Butterfly effect.

What do you think of Xuch not wanting to be a part of the family anymore?
Roivas: You dont have to do anything, you will simply take on a new role. You will always be mine.
We've been lead to believe there is a way to leave.
Roivas: You do not wish to go down that road.
You and Help3r seem to hate each other because your methods are so opposed.
Roivas: I do not hate. I simply wish to be allowed to be. I want only to be allowed happiness. I want only to be allowed happiness. I must go to prepare for what comes next.I believe I am close to appearing to you my butterflies...but I am not sure how yet.

- Roivas leaves chat -

I agree with roivas completely.
I am rather adorable. [/quote]

hmm, showtime isn't with Roivas, as I initially thought.

I'm still sketchy about Roivas. The butterfly Imagery, the whole "SaviorLives", not to mention he is involved with that dead body some how, and therefore involved with it being up and moving, when it is clearly dead.

I rewatched it today, and i noticed the rope didn't have any blood on it. meaning that whoever bagged this guy, did it pre-mortem, as i don't think the killer would have had clean hands if it was done in post, just looking at all the blood.

I think the body may be a previous showtime victim, as the main theory we have right now is that roivas is a collective of all the emotions and shit from previous victims, and what he conjures is made from pure emotion :3
