I doubt he's lying. It's not in his interest to make lies that can potentially harm his only sight and his power source.
And I'm not sure if slendy is intelligent enough to understand how humiliating it could potentially be. No...I think it's merely because that's where he was first seen since caught's memory was restored.

Earlier today Roivas came in asking for help, as they were between the dark place and our world and needed butterfly's voices, via youtube videos, to guide them to us.

Reading Twitter posts it seems that Natalie herself is also entertaining the possibility that Roivas might well be female.

I discussed this on DeviantArt with another fan but I keep thinking of the photo with "Little Caught" and the girl that was beside him. It seems likely that that was Caught's sister or cousin and with the Roivas message of "Come Home" written on the back of it, perhaps Roivas might be a certain relative...?

Caught's severe amnesia means that he wouldn't recognise her if it was and well, not to be too sexist, I consider the concept of butterflies to be something to be thought up by a feminine person...

roivas' CURRENT form is female. Roivas has already made it very clear they were a collective. They have also denied that they were the girl in the picture, but also admitted they cant remember who they used to be.

Just keep in mind that roivas would have to have chosen a binary sex when they joined our world, and it's nothing more than a cosmetic issue...it doesn't reflect who they really are at all.

It also isn't the thing that matters right now Razz

Let's just hope we get an update soon.

Ah, right, I see!

In that case, Roivas could just as easily be a giant mutant butterfly monster who has currently taken on a human female shape so as not to freak us all out!

The Dangers of Internet Chat Rooms: Never mind ax murderers and peodophiles, it might be a giant butterfly you're really talking to!

I thought that silhouette looked female.

Also, if I recall correctly, in the Cranbrook Dr. Room with the puppets on the monitors, there was also a lipstick-stained glass and a bra. I don't think that there are many woman characters in this series outside of the butterflies, Natalie and Roivas...

Maybe you are all trusting Roivas a little too much... Wink
