After AGES of video hiatus, during which those of us more deeply immersed in the ARG-side of things have been working to keep our group safe, we've also been trying to pull Natalie out of the Dark Place, using singing and other basic rituals to send light to her and guide her out.

Hey everybody, little reminder about the Trigger Warning system that has been put in place regarding all future CNS videos. So I'm not really sure what the whole trigger warning thing means about posting in this thread, but uh...there's a new video.



If we aren't supposed to be posting here anymore, I'm really sorry, but the trigger warning thing doesn't really specify whether or not we can post in here anymore.

That being said, there are some pretty brutal scenes in this, and there are most definitely some triggers involved. I'm not an expert on triggers or anything, but these are some pretty serious ones in it: suicide, murder, assault, torture, insanity and kidnapping. So I'd take caution before you watch if you are effected by any of these triggers.

Also I don't really know how to feel about the CGI slenderman...

Assassin, could you tone it down just a tiny bit? I don't like the tiny chat thing and CGI either, but going and insulting them over a fucking ARG is pretty much the most petty thing you could do.

I guess PorcelainSpiders deserves it because it is such a blatant copy, but at least some people find this series to be original.

There's a difference between voicing your opinion and actually making personal comments on the people who like it. Calling everyone in the tinychat a "14 year old girl or a neckbeard," like you did in another thread is not the same thing as saying "I dislike the way this series is run now, and I don't like the slenderman style."

One is an opinion. One is an insult.

EDIT: and before you call me out, my comment about one of the particular people was not meant to be insulting, I was just saying it was odd how some people find the tinychat so interesting.

I'm sorry let me correct myself, the girl wasn't 14 she was 16 and actually she backed out of the TC a couple months ago as I have heard from various sources on skype. And don't tell me there aren't neckbeards in there just sitting all day waiting to see Caught come in under some alias and say something.

I'm not bullshitting I've been in there, go ahead check for yourself see what it's like.

Whether there are or aren't neckbeards inside the TC was beside the point. I mean, from the way you said it, you were stereotyping in a very bad way. Maybe that isn't what you meant or something, but you made it sounds like you were criticizing the fan base of the series. They aren't the problem here. The problem is how the creator makes it, and chooses how his slenderman looks.

And so fucking what if it was a 16 year old? There are plenty of people here around that age (CoopTheTent (creator of ICANSEETHEGIANT), Evan275x (creator of StanFredrickBTS), and even me) that contribute just like any other member.

My point is, criticizing the people who like it won't make the series better. What you should be criticizing is the creator of the series.

Tbh, CNS has a tight knit fanbase of strong personalities with an unusually large impact on the game, to the point of blurring the lines between who is creating and who is playing, so if one does not like the turn the game has taken I don't think it's all that far fetched to point fingers at the fanbase influence.

However, the GMs has been more than happy to comply and let the game turn into this new version of CNS. No one "broke" it, it is just the way the creators decided to let this one play out. It makes for a quite a different ARG experience, and one that does not appeal to the enitre community. Those who are involved do however seem to enjoy themselves more than I thought possible in an ARG

Early CNS was amonst my top Slendy vlogs and I miss it, but I'll willingly sacrifice one slendy-vlog amongst a thousand for something as peculiar as CNSs fanbase to evolve.
