Ok, this may be totally dumb, but...

Looking at the glyphs in the thread coming right after the image of the icefly someone posted, they strike me as being a line drawing of the top quarter of the icefly. Does this make sense?

Dumb, I know, But this is my first Arg. Razz

I'll see if I can post a picture soon... but I am working on a theory structured around our ICE concept.

The "Iceflies" are located (according to video) in a remote area of the known world, covered all in ice.... while that could be a good few number of places (Siberia, Greenland, Northern Canada to name a few) the two that instantly come to mind are the North Pole and Antarctica.... so i superimposed the lines of number dots on a picture of the south pole, lining it up as best I could...

Does anyone have the ability to get a global map with lines of latitude and longitude that starts from the center point of the north or south pole? or can one even be created? That's what I am working on right now, the lines match up pretty perfectly until the curve of the earth on a standard map makes it wrong.

I'll keep thinking of other scenarios but right now that's my best

Glyphs do seem to ppossibly indicate times, each has a short arm and a long arm like a clock.

Well all things being considered, I am in the same thinking as a few of you here.. to find a pattern or code, diagram would require and be assisted by ..a place to put it.

So for instance if it is a door code then to find where said code is to be inputted and decifer how many places for said code; would narrow down the search area.

So if pentagram/ pentagon is key.. then the asymmetric shape of the dots throws off any 5 patterned code.

Mind you I have not skewed the picture

We need to join the dots again, but in a way that gives semaphore symbols. Then we'll have a website address i recon.

Has anyone thought that the angles match up with the lines to make a certain code or pattern?

Semaphore idea sounds very worth a shot.

I totally agree, but now how do we make sense of the dots so that they fit into semaphore-looking characters? Maybe the "5" is the key somehow? Thoughts?

Maybe we're looking for five letters?

I'd guess you'd need to draw a line from the middle to each of the matching pair. Nice idea!

I thought maybe they could be arranged to become the Musca (fly) constellation, but I could not make them fit.http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/21/Musca_constellation_map.png
