I just had a thought. At 3:02 Alex puts his glasses down on the table and then not too long after, he is teleported/kidnapped/whatever. Is it possible that entry 38 takes place not too long after this entry since Alex didn't have his glasses in that one?

This could also account for his even stranger attitude in 38 and why Alex doesn't have the chest cam then as well.

Interesting idea. Jay's unreliability ad a narrator being his cluelessness would fit in much better with his general doings so far. Alex berating him for how easy he was to track down, his dropping the camera when frightened, etc etc. I don't remember, were the tapes from the safe labeled or not?

Like it was mentioned at least once before in this topic, I, too, am starting to believe that the drawings are ways of summoning Slendy/The Operator. It seems pretty much that any place the symbol is drawn, Slendy is there, or comes there after a while. Perhaps Slendy somehow controls his victims to draw them, in order for him to be able to enter that plane of reality? I don't know. Damn, I'm coming up with theories in the wroooong thread. Anyway, Symbols, callin' Slendy. Yep yep.

I'm still curious about there being the shadow passing over him. If it is The Operator, he sure took his time to take him. If it's someone else though... Maybe that clears up my thoughts. I've got the hunger shakes though, so what can I tell if I'm repeating myself.

And I don't think I meant to say he was staring at the ceiling. I was just using ceiling as a placeholder for 'somewhere that is not at himself'.

This gets to go in the "noticed things that are probably not important at all" pile... but the ceiling fan changes speeds between shots.

I wonder if the Slendersickness is possibly withdrawals from Slendy's presence? Multiple times we've seen people in his presence with no signs of coughing fits... it's always when they're presumably away from him. Maybe Alex was summoning the Operator 'cause he needed a fix...? Shocked :XD:

I don't wanna poke holes in the teleportation thing because I like it, but we don't actually have 100% proof that Slendy teleports. There is distortion and cutting out of the camera both before he appears and before he vanishes. Since Slendy can screw with cameras, the camera could have simply stopped recording for any period of time, and then resumed once the Operator stopped influencing it.

Just a thought.

-That makes sense to me.

So the Operator doesn't want Jessica to worry about Alex and Amy. Somehow the Operator knows that Alex made that call in the last entry.

If we go for this then:

-Was Alex under the Operator's control back in the original tapes when he was making the drawings?

These are actually really good points. He was acting really weird in this entry. Drawing Operator symbols, writing the "Operator on the paper, staring the mirror very strangely. I mean, he's drawn weird stuff before, but he was probably under his spell then too, like you said.

And this brings us again to ask why? Why would Alex put himself under the control of the Operator? The most obvious answer is that he's just desperate to get Amy back, and he's made some kind of "deal" with The Operator. But He seems to be screwing over Alex, making him lie to Jessica, who is one of the people that could actually help him out. I think that Alex didn't tell Jay where he lived because he knew that he would be under the Slendy spell. Maybe it's already happened...maybe that's why Alex took so long to meet Jay at Rosswood Park.

Okay you MSPainters. Here's my question. At .... OH FUCK.

Alex is TTA. Or at least one of them.

Go to 1:57. Right above Alex's hand. Reversed Sigma on the panel on the wall.

Okay...now back to my original question.
Can someone with great screencapture skills and better resolution than me get a decent capture of the paper immediately to the right of Alex's SlenderSummon page - seen at 1:47 to 2:18. I can make out, in various areas... "Me" "Kill", and maybe a few other things.

ETA: Also a "who", and something I can barely make out that looks like P M E written vertically near the bottom of the visible page. Edit #3: Actually this looks like an Operator symbol with "me" written at the 3:00 and 6:00 positions around the figure.

ETA x2: Also ANOTHER Sigma at 2:15 under Alex's LEFT hand, on a page with some wavy lines (maybe suggesting video distortion?).

So, when Alex is sitting on the floor and the shadow passes over him... if you crank the video up to 720p and go full screen you can see Alex's eyes blinking. I think he's conscious and watching Oppy (probably... maybe someone else) walk by.

I didn't notice this until you pointed it, so thanks!

Really makes me curious. Alex is completely unphased by the shadow so then he must be controlled. If so then, since his behavior was very much like season one, do we start to think that he was controlled during the majority of Marble Hornets filming?

Most were labeled but a few were not if I recall correctly.

Well I don't think Alex voluntarily gave into control of the Operator.

I know last entry when Alex walks towards the Operator, people think he was just going at him, but I saw it as the Operator taking control right then and there. When Alex gets up off the ground the Operator is controlling his body and drawing him in.

I could be wrong however, just how I took it.

Dammit!!!

I was going to point out the sigma symbol on the box above his head.

Frankly I was more freaked out by the moving shadow when he was sitting on the ground. Same thing happened after Seth disappeared in entry 25(ish?) and he was talking about people being gone. It doesn't make sense for the operator to cast a shadow but be invisible, but moreover to wander around the room unseen before snatching Alex up. Then again, why get alex in the forest, let him go, then come get him again in his room. Very weird, very freaky.

I'm becoming convinced that Alex is part of tta. I dunno. Good entry though.

At the end of the entry, Jay states that he looked and could not find any evidence that Alex got in contact with Amy. This would logically mean that Jay has seen everything on both the harddrive and the DV tapes. If this is true, and he looked through the rest of the tapes before uploading this, then there isn't much left that is of any consequence and the story will be moving back to present day any entry now.

I took that as that he looked through everything before this entry. That's all he'd have to look through to figure out if he's gotten in touch with Amy at this time.

Sorry man, you probably saw it before I did, I only notice it when I went to get time references for my observations.

I hate to bring this up, but couldn't the shadow right after the Slendypages have been one of the Maskys? There wasn't any distortion of any variety during that period. Sure, the Operator's appearance was very "quiet" in regard to distortion (positively tranquil) - but the shadow had nothing.
