I think it's a little obnoxious. There's nothing to discuss yet, so it's going to be six pages of drivel to wade through to get to the actual content once the entry does come out. There's no point in making a thread until we have the entry.

I didn't see a single person saying they were upset because they didn't get to post first. Most of us just don't understand why a thread needs to be posted hours and hours before anything is uploaded. I am not sure why you would resort to name calling for no real reason though....

Honestly, dismissing and marginalizing my accusations of people being stuck up and pretentious as "name calling" really doesn't do anyone any favors here.

And y'know what, maybe nobody outright said that they wanted to be the one to post the thread. But I bet quite a few were thinking it. Also:

There's that, too. I suppose I was a little heavy-handed (comes from dealing with the arguably more impulsive and confrontational Slender Man Mythos people, I suppose), but in the end, what I'm saying is this:

Get over it. The thread is here. Just because the video hasn't been posted yet is absolutely no reason to take down a thread. Especially because in about five hours (estimate), if this thread is locked, there will be /two/ Entry 44 threads, and people stand a very good chance of being confused.

It's just not worth it. Maybe I have no power here. But I say let it stand. And I'll tell JKatkina the same thing.

 		Thank you, to some of you, for not being douches. I prefer having something already and having it ready. It runs much smoother that way. If you guys don't like it, that's cool. I like it, and I posted the thread. I didn't post a fake link, so there's really no reason for this to be locked.

And in about five hours (estimate) there'll be several pages of crap posted that has absolutely nothing to do with the actual entry that people will have to read through or at least skim to find out where the actual content starts. Yeah, the thread's here, I don't care whether it gets locked or not, and I don't care who's the first person to post any of them, but *in the future*, this should be avoided. If people want something to do while waiting for the next entries, there are plenty of other threads to contribute something productive to, and several off-topic threads to waste time in. This? This is just unnecessary.

 		This topic will essentially take the place of a topic created for discussing what happened in this specific entry when it comes out, and it's got two pages to its name before said entry comes out. This ain't the end of the world, but there's a reason these kinds of topics aren't posted 'till the subject of the discussion can be viewed and discussed.
