Of course math is part of the series. The Operator Symbol is obviously a unit circle.

If I remember right, operator is a term used in vector Calc when you map one vector on top of another, or something like that (again, not a mathematician...)

Going off topic about pi for a sec:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

I watched the pi vids, and to me it seems a bit arbitrary to argue over which should be used other than the fact that Tau must be proven first for pi to exist. Also, in my engineering department (chemical), we use diameter all the time instead of radius, so rally, 2*pi*r becomes pi*d and boom, no 2*pi. But I guess it might be easier to understand trigonometry and calculus concepts.

Tau also already exists in engineering as a variable for torque.

Indeed.

So about that operator symbol:
I've always thought about the phrase "Dial zero for Operator." From what I remember, every entry that has the symbol has the Operator (or at least the visual tear to indicate his presence). So the symbol could be used to summon him.
Also, this may or may not be irrelevant, but I found out a while ago that (X) is a very old symbol from Europe that was used to show a child's death.

Wait, on that last part is there a source? Because if so, then that pretty much confirms this Operator loves children as much as the old Slenderman mythos.

Not necessarily. He's still stalking Alex, and Alex is no longer a child.

Isn't there a video of clip of when Alex was a child somewhere? That has some significance, right?

enttry 37 has Alex as a child, and also has a layered on Operator, and in one of the earlier entries as they are filming in the gazebo, you can hear the sound of children playing. Jessica also recounts something from her childhood in her confession to Jay.

Is it time to choose camps?
I pick whatever camp thinks the Operator symbol summons 0-dog.

Going off on a tangent here, I had a SPOOKY premonition. In Entry 38, when Alex is acting SPOOKY and Jay changes the tape right after Alex says "JUST COME HERE I'M NOT GOING TO HURT YOU";

I believe it will be continued (It just has to, period) in a later entry, where the 7-month-sega comes to an end as Alex tries to have Jay draw the Operator symbol on the ground, and Jay refuses. Alex tries to force him to, and they both end up drawing it together, and 0-dog comes after the both of them. They separate, running different ways, and it leads into Entry 29.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Yeah, I said "0-dog", big whoop?!

Holy crap, I knew she was evil! Check out the kid with the duct tape at 0:51 in this video, specifically his eyes.

That definitely sounds interesting, but I just don't like the idea that there needs to be a symbol for TO to appear. I personally think that whole theory takes away some of the fear of the Operator.

I want to believe that this..thing can follow you and pretty much ruin your life almost out of no where.

The Operator has been there when the symbol has not been visibly present.

what's creepier is that I exited full screen and looked back down and it paused with a glare from Katy Perry
