We don't know for absolute certain that Maxine is the brunette, but its pointing that way, just not been proved yet.
Who was driving the car in both scenes (15 years ago and present) to the Traelek Institute? Probably not relevant though.

So I take it we are waiting for a picture or name before adding the information from /benevolence ?
All I know is that the letter points to 3 parties.
One is the Professor (probably Professor Gerald Traelek), one is the letter writer, whom I suspect is the assistant seen in the Prelude although there is not enough evidence to verify this yet. The final party is the benefactor; the person or group who sent the envelope.

You make a good point. I could put it under *spec* for now for Prof Traelek, because we only know that this is addressed to him.
The one who wrote this, has to be the one doing the heavy research for the Prof. It's either the assistant or someone who we have not been introduced to yet Thank you

I also found this interesting. I wonder if whoever wrote this note has some sort of beef with the Prof. Probably unfounded, but there's a bit of a negative undercurrent in his/her words. Like s/he is upset that s/he wasn't the one to make whatever discovery s/he is referring to. I sense a bit of the, "why him, not me?" mentality - the sort that plagued Ron as he carried the locket in the final chapters of the Harry Potter saga.
For the record:

Me being too lazy to log onto my account but I'll post any. Could you add that the prof also has some sort of telekinesis. It was seen at the end of the video while he was holding the ice fly, and mainly I kinda find it kick ass.

Oh my god, I heard jokes about iPads autocorrect but I never thought it'll happen to me in that way. Also Im sure the ice fly couldn't do anything because it was frozen.

The look of surprise/elation on Prof's face makes me want to agree with royce. If Prof has telekinetic powers, why bother lifting the tube out of the container with his hands at all? I think the shot of the icefly floating is intended to show us that it has some incredible power.

It was thawing though, if you notice there was a bit of melted water sloshing around in the bottom of the container.... It makes me think of the way flies sort of suspend if they are too cold. I know it sounds silly, but I used to work in a floral department... I was always rescuing the flies and sometimes ladybugs that got stuck in the refrigerated display. They looked dead, but if I scooped them up and put them outside they would fly off after thawing for a couple of seconds. Maybe being a sort of bug our ice fly might have similar sort of traits?

Their name in their previous post was listed as "InyaFetish" as opposed to "Inyaferian"

I SWEAR the icefly moves a little bit at the end of the video. It moves slowly, almost like it was injured - most likely because it's still thawing. I remember noticing that the first time I watched the video and thinking "Aha! It's alive!"
Since that swarm of iceflies makes that guy levitate in that one commercial, I'm inclined to attribute the levitation to the icefly and not the professor...

I'm going with the notion that the Prof was more surprised than anything at the Ice Fly.
I'll kick myself later if in one of the comics, a student tries to escape and he slams the door... with his mind XD
