 		The first time I heard the backwards voices, and then the third voice saying "Bloody Mary" in the shorter trailer, I jumped from my chair and yelled Holy Shit. That's some preepy stuff to be honest. Laughing Shocked

No problem. Thanks for re-posting it... Rapidshare was just the first thing I thought of, yours is much easier and faster.
Yeah, I did the edit in audacity in the first place. Just remember, every time you put it through that, it'll degrade the quality more and more.
Also, for the record, I recorded it with SoundTap Streaming Audio Recorder, which is why the sound isn't great to begin with. But, it's a really useful tool. You can get the 14-day trial for free, but I have the full version.

Yeah, I didn't even really catch that... it almost sounds like he says "Oh God"...

OR their parents are away from home for whatever reason and a relative (like grandma, but it could be a family friend as well) could be watching them.

I have two problems with that:
1)How can you tell that isn't just their house? I mean, you can't really tell what's happening in that picture at all.
2)Why backmask and lower the pitch on something as entirely random and completely unrelated to the story as a trip to grandma's house?

Besides, that image is what we're talking about in the first place, that that image might be from the mental hospital they were sent to during all this, a theory that is a) actually interesting and b) has something to do with the story.

I gotta ask, did you even read the previous couple of posts? You gotta play the game, you can't just guess.

EDIT: Put emphasis on the word huge. Also, click on advanced anagramming at the top for some other features. I also tried to muddle through the list, but I am no good at anagrams... maybe that's why I suck at Scrabble.



this is exactly what i have been thinking.. they have to be anagrams, hence the mispelling and the blatant cutoof of the word resolution.. who has a tv commercial with those type of flaws! its too obvious!

Well to go along with all the 'i's and '1's , "incode for eternity" is an anagram for "Noticed Terrify One"

I actually went back and watched the previous two movies recently, and in two, Katie mentions to Kristi she doesn't want to see "what happened to mom" happen to Kristi.

I wonder if their mom gets messed up by the demon and put in an asylum of some sort, or something similar? That's what the image strikes me as just looking at it, and then thinking about the conversation in two, makes me think it's their mother sitting there.

Then you have the phone conversation. My girlfriend and I think they're saying "tell mom we love her". Could it be dad is calling home to check on the girls why he's out for a visit to their mother in the mental home, or whatever it could be? Hrm.

 		First of all, I edited my post before you put that and answered your first question. Sorry, I have afterthoughts all the time. Secondly, since it's just a theory, it's just a theory. I see where you are coming from, but I was trying to put 2 and 2 together. Where else could they be in the audio? I've spent the night with my grandma all the time when I was a kid, and called my parents from there. Also, if it was grandma's house, and if in fact the story that Ali told was true (the deal making) it could have followed them home, or if grandma came over it could have followed her there. Like all theories, even this being from a mental institute, it could be wrong. Could be right. The point is, the footage where the picture comes from is a mash up of two events in the past, camping and Kristi at the trampoline and then the unknown footage. Everything so far presented has been from the past, or clips from the other two movies we have already seen. Grandparents (great or otherwise) have been suggested in the film to have started the whole thing in the first place. It wasn't just a shot in the dark like you think.

The truth is like you said we can't tell what it is. We can tell there are some windows. We can tell there are some curtains. We can sort of see a figure. And maybe a decorative table chair in the foreground (it's over Kristi's hands). As for it being from the mental hospital, it is a good theory. If the picture doesn't go with the audio, my bad. But as for the audio, it seriously could be from the girls spending the night at their grandma's (or another relative's). Or like I said, their parents are away for whatever reason and they are being watched by someone. And you ask why would they backmask something like that when it was just a trip to grandma's? Maybe that's where it all started. Maybe that's where the demon started following them. The demon seems to be methodical in nature and also very patient. We've seen this through the first two films, by character testimony. A trip to grandma's house, especially in a movie like this, isn't necessarily entirely random and completely unrelated as you may think. And if I am wrong, then so be it.

And I did say that the picture and the audio may have a connection, didn't say it was true. And, yes I did read the other posts. I never saw the PA2 viral stuff because I didn't even know it existed, I just watched the movie when it came out.

Yeah I see what you mean. I was thinking that also. Since Katie was all like, "Do you want to turn into mom?" The only thing is what Micah says to Katie in the first one, "We shouldn't let your mother come over anymore." meaning that she may not be in the institute like we may think. It's a good idea, but what Micah said still bugs me. Maybe Micah was just trying to be funny (big surprise) and he actually didn't mean anything.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. It explains why their mom couldn't just get on the phone and tell them goodnight herself, another thing I was kinda curious about.

I looked over the list of anagrams, and none of them form actual coherent sentences, or give any real clues. "Noticed Reentry of I" is random, and doesn't fit the context (also, as far as I know, they haven't mentioned any jamaican people yet, which would be the only reason "of I" would make any sense). And "Noticed Terrify One" is just three random words that happens to include the word Terrify... Yes, it has the word "one" but, the sentence doesn't mean anything.

JokerDonny, I apologize. I had forgotten about the previous mention of the grandparents. If you had presented it like you just did in the first place, I would have seriously considered it. I still like the mental institution theory better, especially Nathanial's point of view on it, but it is still a valid theory that we have no reason to discredit at the moment. Like you mentioned, we just simply don't have enough data at this point to really rule anything out.

But yeah, Micah may be sort of a dick, but I don't think he would joke with Katie like that, saying that her mother shouldn't come over if she is in a mental hospital. That's just wrong.

You have a good eye though, Joker, because I actually forgot to mention that in my previous post (the thing about what Micah said). There is also the possibility than it is a hospital and not an asylum, or that we're just wrong on both of them haha.

But you never know. Maybe that line in Paranormal 1 was an oversight for the story *shrugs*

You could be right haha. I watched that part again, and the part where Katie finds the picture and calls someone, she says at the end of the conversation, "I'm sorry to wake you up daddy." But if like you said, it could be an oversight since they weren't absolutely sure they would be making a sequel.
