I actually hope it does end up being El Hombre Alto, despite my gut saying it is just the light. If it was El Hombre Alto, it would explain why Alex just walks outside calmly at first, since I'm in the "Alex is a Slenderslave" camp. Then of course he sees Woodsy/Hoody/whatever and grabs his camera and runs.

But that also raises the question... why was El Hombre visiting Alex?

They're bros? But seriously, Alex is crazy paranoid, and if he's a Slendyslave, the paranoia may have just been shifted. Also in the mind control camp is the idea that Slendy is using Alex as a sort of beacon for protection, but this is weaker because Slendy is a hellbeast and if he can take a bullet, he can certainly take two twenty-somethings in hoods and masks, armed chiefly with cinderblock.

Its possible that it was meant to be TO but wasnt the actual prop or dress or whatever they use to show TO on camera. Maybe they noticed what it looked like and wanted to include it to either play with our heads like the wheres waldo effect or actually use it as an Operator sighting. Just because it isnt TO as we know him concretly but we dont know if he cant mold him self or appear in reflections, I dont know this is sounding more stupid as I type but just a thought.

I watched the entry and i really dont think they would plant slenderman right there with no distortion or meaning, it seems silly and it's an awkward position. you're grasping at straws, it just doesnt make sense.

Re: TO outside the window

I highly doubt that it matters either way whether he was there or not; in a series like this, a high premium is set on pants-crappingly scary horror moments, and discussions. The sighting - be it a trick of light or actually TO - fits the bill.

I actually dont think that its him there but im giving a possible reason as to how it could be in a way. Either way great job by them I loved when they used to make you think everything was TO

Rather than letters, I thought the branches in question looked like there were strings hanging off, hearkening back to Alex's story about prisoners in the trees.

And it's not 100% related but--maybe it's also worth examining that we don't know where that video is in sequence, still.

Hmm... interesting. They do kind of look like strings, or old bits of rope. Maybe that is why the camera focuses so long on it? Or it could also just be that Alex held the camera in that direction while looking. Who knows.

Now what if the Masks are working for TO but he doesn't want Alex dead yet, or he wants to save him for himself. It's pretty obvious Tim was just trying to get back at Alex for the leg thing.

Kind of like how deathbeaters are terrified of Voldemort? Kind of works but I still think this is showing that they are on two different teams at least

They're called deatheaters, and at least they're not useless...

You're just asking for a flaming, aren't you? Well too bad. You're not getting it.

But anyway... I really don't think the sticks, letters, strings, or whatever really mean anything. Unless we're seeing them from the wrong side, and the message is actually reversed Razz

Location: Do you think I want Masky at my door? Nuh uh.

Given that Noah's Ark was used to save those aboard it from destruction, and that it seems that the Masked Collective is indeed totheark.

And also given that so far we've only seen El Hombre Alto break the Laws of Physics, it would seem that the Ark will act as protection from our slender friend.

Something occurs to me--how exactly was Alex taken down to the ground? I don't see how Hoody could have done it, and while Tim seems like the obvious choice, first of all he's limping, which makes his tackling and sneaking abilities less reliable. As well, if he tackled Alex, shouldn't he have been on top of him right off the bat, instead of limping his way over there?

Why is this important? Because it seems to me extremely likely that there was A THIRD MEMBER OF TOTHEARK present at this entry--he/she was simply standing or sitting behind that camera during the final sequence.

That's how I saw things the whole time... I'm pretty sure that when Alex gets into the woods and sees the first hoodied/masked guy, that guy just stands there while the other as-yet-unknown masked/hoodied dude did the tackling, and Tim attempted to finish Alex off.

Maybe it's just me, but the body language doesn't scream 'trying to kill Alex' to me in that struggle.

The way that he slams the rock down next to him and then grabs him by the neck and leans in close - combined with the /sound being off during that section/ and just the general body language reads to me like they're talking in a 'grabs you by the neck and shouts' sort of way. Presumably he's yelling at Alex or something? It's impossible to tell without sound and with the mask on, though.

Who else thinks that Alex yelling at the proxies at the end of this entry was a bit unneeded?

Didn't you notice that Alex is now causing audio distortion as well?
