Well this is very interesting, and dare I say at the heart of every ARGy endeavor. Before we even knew what ARGs were, did we not examine every possible clue just to find out what that bizarre website was for?

OK, I wasn't on the scene to know what that would have looked like, but still...

I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye on this one. The 9/11 attacks/conspiracy theories have always left a hole in my waking thoughts. (I promise it's not as loopy as it sounds.) I had no idea the Cloudmakers had discussed this. (It's like I'm talking about the bloody Protheans or something!)

Well anyway...can't wait until the timer winds down. As dangerous as it may be, I kind of hope it's really TINAG. But kinda not really too.

Also, before I read keysofsoloman's post about getting a response re: the floppy disc, I left a comment on the article. Now that I think about it, I probably sounded really direct and rude. Just like any true American!

My stream of consciousness while watching the video:

A shot taken after the impact of one of the Boeings of 9/11.

A concorde, impossible to see whether BA or Air France.

A soldier. Most likely a US Marine, holding what looks to me like an M4(A1).

A jet crashing into the ground near or onto civilians, perhaps some event I should remember, adding to the general 'aviation disasters' theme.

Some sort of aircraft flying over the Taj Mahal.

A train-crash, likely in an Arabic country, judging by the visible text.

The statue of liberty, the one meant to be attacked in the Jackie Chan movie.

Some industry polluting.

Some building - look a bit like Istanbul, but I doubt it.

The same picture we've seen on the website, slowly revealing the 'Darkest Puzzle' logo.

Concordes allegedly went out of business as a direct result of 9/11. The crash in Paris occured over a year before that, and the Concorde was returned to service in November 2001.

Not sure how these all relate, except under the 'disaster' heading. Seems to me, the initial four clues and this video are more teasers of what is to come, rather than being actual clues worth following.[/code]

I think the flying thing it's just debris from the Saddam statue falling on the front of the picture. Picture that I'm almost 100% sure is this one:



I can't get anything else from the video, except the feeling that the smoke-ish thing floating over the actual pictures may have some significance (there's a point in the video where you can see something like a tree maybe, over the statue of liberty) but I don't know how to extract it, providing it's possible which I'm quite sure it's not.

But thanks for your analysis, I would have overlooked the whole video if it weren't for that.

I saw the white plane and it didn't look like a fighter jet, so I did a little research (I don't know jack about planes) and the crashing plane turned out to be a Mig-35 or something similar. I google'd that and found the picture, it's from an (apparently?) unrelated russian crash during an expo or something like that.
