I honestly think that's the right place. If not, I'm sure the Vagabond/Misfits assholes will let us know...

Even though "carne" does indeed mean "flesh", the word for "valley" is not "vale", but "valle" (or many other variations depending on wich romanic language you're using, but, as far as I know, the 'l' it's always double).

I have two degrees in mathematics so I will be the first to admit that I am not a wordsmith, but this is where I got my info from. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/vale No biggie...just sayin'.

Also, new blog post by Grace.

Threw up my Oz guess, Dorothy had a technicolor dream, was sucked into a funnel, and the movie is dedicated the the young at heart. All the stuff also resides at museums. Doesn't fit with Ow Game though.

Well, the book was Written by Denslow, the characters include a scarecrow and a cowardly lion, Dorothy goes "Somewhere over the Rainbow" where she then must follow the yellow brick road to meet the great and powerful Oz.

So nothing about "Ow Game" exactly, but plenty of ow's to be sure. Just saying.

I'm still trying to see what I can find about Ow Game myself.

(and that was a total joke by the way.)

That "lions and tigers and bears, oh my" substitution had started me thinking about OZ and how Dorothy (Grace) mustn't stray from a path to find it, i.e. the museum

EDIT: And, yada yada, as Bril Booba's post just made the rest of mine (now deleted) sound tedious. Laughing Still not getting "ow game" tho PROPS B! Shall I tell Grace?

Please tell Grace.

Ow game-

Used the very high tech Scrabble tiles, and was very surprised to get a google hit on WAMEGO (who knew?). That + Oz and there you go

Good going on TECHNICOLOR. Had dreams and color and could't see the rest Sad

Yeah, I only found technicolor afterward, and it required me to select the 'obscure words' option...

I guess the Oz Museum is it, then!

Yo bros and broettes,

Jester posted a new riddle on his twitter:

R7: Two Days: +J-E-L+G=-E-L+F=-L=0+B+H+G-E=-K+H+G=-J-L+A+G=+F+C-H-L-B=-L=-K-H-I=-K+H+G=-J-L+A+G=+F-A-H-H+C

I don't really know what to make of it. I just went through a math orientation thing at my school though, so when I see this all I can think of is doing something mathematical to it...
I tried setting every word to a number and then doing the operations in between the equals signs, and then turning them back to letters, and I got KLLDNMLDNK... which anagramically means absolutely nothing... any ideas?

Solution
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's just a direct substitution. Just be careful of the +/- because they will sub differently. For example +J = W while -J = C.

Anyway you get "What has a mouth but can't speak, a bed but can't sleep". The answer is a river.

It's not just direct substitution, as it requires a shift of 13. Just saying...

It's amazing how sometimes there can be more than one solution to the same problem depending on how you look at it. I will still spoiler in case anybody wants to keep working out the code for themselves...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you change all the letters into their numerical value (keeping the negatives in place), then add 13 to all of them, then revert the numbers back to their letter equivalent you will get the decoded message.

The way I looked at it was as a cryptogram (what I referred to as direct substitution) where each distinct letter has been substituted for another. It obviously reveals the correct message without the use of a shift.

Thanks punxtr for showing everyone an alternate way to solve this puzzle. I for one am always interested in learning different ways of looking at codes.

P.S. -- I chose mouthwash.

I was hoping you would. Considering we don't even know if he has a toothbrush. But mouthwash he can use without one.

Good point. I was thinking the alcohol in the mouthwash could be useful as a disinfectant or antiseptic in case of emergency. Of course he could get alcohol-free mouthwash...
