QR code huh? .....Déjà vu
It does look like a 16 piece component to me assuming its one singular code....uhh or 36..I give up
So assuming the above have we a final count of how many badges have been sent?
I have a picture of my ugly mug on my profile but alas no badge
Jane

Are people getting badges also getting their profile pic online or are these independent events?

It's hard to tell at the moment. It looks like people who have gotten packages also had their pictures up on their profiles. I don't think anyone has reported a package and an icefly image yet. However, not everyone who has their picture up has gotten a package yet.
The picture thing may be a glitch, and maybe everyone is supposed to have it up now. Judging by the amount of glitches this has had so far, it seems most likely. However, maybe it was on purpose to some degree- so far all profile pictures reported have been genuine and unobscured. It also seems that many people without a profile picture signed up early, which could support both theories.

Should there be a thread to post JUST scans of the QR code pieces and nothing else? I know there was an ARG where people had to combine this that or the other to unlock something.

I think that's what this thread is for...Compiling can be done on the wiki.

Yeah you could be right there mate. Might be a coincidence, but we'll have to see. Nice spot.

From the looks of it. It would be ALPHA- then a random character. From the two we have here we have a + and . after the ALPHA. Perhaps hints to where they are going to be put?

Yes, please post pics of the QR code segments in this thread - this is the puzzle thread and should be dedicated to solving that QR puzzle...
There is a wiki page to help track and compile the components at http://icefly.wikibruce.com/TSN_Badges
But as of now I've only seen two different pieces (posted to the facebook HPP group).
I agree - I think one of the symbol patterns seems to spell 'alpha-(something)'... the other I'm not sure (this image )
As a side note, what's with all the low quality blurry webcam photos! heh, where are all the smartphone cameras with high resolution images that are in focus ? bah!

It looks like the other image could say Bravo. There are 7 circles before the dash so Charlie can fit too. Or not.

Has anyone recreated the small qr code segments to make them larger? I can post them if they'd be of use. I made each section 150x150 to hopefully make them clearer to see.

A lpha
B ravo
C harlie
D elta
E cho
F oxtrot
G olf

Bravo, of course... couldn't figure out potential letters, and I was thinking more along the greek lines
Another package received w/photo - http://twitpic.com/5zjkgv
I replied asking if he could share an image of his QR segment & code.
