I think it's pretty clear that that's Slendy in one form or another printed on that cover. Doesn't it look that way to you guys?


Very much yes. It looks like there's more than one figure on the book though.

 		Someone said earlier that they thought it was the Operator that walks by the closet door. I thought the same thing when I first saw it. The legs looked really long from that angle and the pant legs looked like slacks.

After watching the video a few times I think I figured out the movement in it. Jay's in the closet, person or think walks by. Phone rings, we hear Alex. Jay's camera starts to destort and he panics, coming out of the closet and going into Alex's room. Alex comes up BEHIND HIM from the living room, grabs the tape from him and Jay grabs the flashlight from him. While the flashlight is off they move into the living room. They talk, Jay turns the flashlight on and points it back toward Alex's bedroom onto Slendy then turns and hits the door, grabs the key and runs like hell.

I kind of have to agree. I think it was Slendy that passed by.

Yeah, you can make out the people, looks like they are sitting at a table or a dining bar (like in a diner). I'm really guessing that the cover of the book is a print of some old 1920-1930s painting or mural of people at a table.

It might be significant later, but I don't think the pictures on it are going to be as important as what is in it.

 		Still reading through the thread, but I just have to say GREAT ENTRY! I love that Marble Hornets is getting back to being scary and not so damn worried about plot that there's no scares.

Also, showing off my new avatar. Still might need some tinkering, but I thought it was about time to ditch the Angel's Game one (since it apparently wasn't even Slendy in Angel's Game.)

If it was the Operator, how would Alex be back there? How would he have made it to that room without walking past the closet?


Edit: Also the fact that he had Jay's flashlight. So he would have had to have gone into the room to get it. Which is right past the closet.

 		Holy shit. Great entry. I jumped so high at the Operator sighting.

Regarding the key, I have two theories:

1. The key it Alex's spare key to his apartment. This explains why it isn't on his normal key ring. Jay is hoping to be able to return later and find more information.

2. The key is Amy's old key to her and Jessica's apartment. Alex somehow got a hold of it when Amy disappeared. Or perhaps Alex had a key there beforehand. But he has taken the key off his keyring. Perhaps this is to keep him from going to Amy's place on the spur of the moment?

Regarding "why did you lead him here," I think it's possible that this isn't referring to the Operator, who appears to know where Alex lives anyway, but a member of the Mask Collective. Alex is very clearly at odds with the Maskies, who have been known to follow Jay. If entry #45 happens AFTER this entry, Jay could be the reason the Maskies know where Alex lives to lure him out for Tim's little revenge.

Jay doesn't run towards Alex's room, he runs for the door, then turns around saying nonononono because The Op is at the window, he then runs into Alex, who's coming from his room with Jays flashlight that Jay left on Alex's chair.

So it was Alex who walked by.
