read through page 13 but i'm starting to space out. here are two thoughts.

People claim to having seen "BONE" spelled out in the "WAKE UP" twitpic from November. Personally I don't think it's there.

Woo-hoo, I made it through all the posts!!

Damn you guys for making me interested in that book. Seriously, it probably has nothing to do with anything, but I just wanna throttle Jay and yell "WHAT ABOUT THE BOOK?!?" now. *sigh*

I'm down with this entry following #44. Probably not on the same night, though. For one, for Jay to "follow" Alex to his apartment, he would have to have followed Alex to the forest first, and followed him to the apartment from there, and while it's POSSIBLE Jay witnessed the insanity in the forest, I don't think it likely. For second, it looked like entry #44 spanned from the forest to the end of the night - I don't think there's room in the timeline for Jay's rude interruption. The implication being that Alex and Jay spent more time together between 44 and 46... Wonder what happened there?

I'm still trying to figure out the significance of the closet itself. I know I've kind of gotten a name for myself by fixating on the most innocuous things, but that's definitely the same closet that Alex shines a flashlight into for a good three seconds in entry #44... I kinda want to know why he does that.

The 8/10 BONE theory that it rates Jessica's hotness is possibly the greatest thing to come out of this entry yet.

Maybe the little scribbly bits of paper are presents for Jay.. Things that say, 'hey look, I'm a victim too'! Explains why Alex looks so determined, yet not at all panicked (easily confusable with being in a trance) in the entry where he's actually scribbling. Maybe Alex knew he would go snooping, hence the lack of real surprise. 

What I mean is that, if Alex is so paranoid about all this 'SEES ME' business, about being watched all the time - meaning that TO sticks to Alex like Velcro, why is TO now apparently being led places by Jay instead of preying on Alex when he's taking out the rubbish in the dark?!?

I mean, it's no secret that Alex isn't a victim. But what is he trying to do exactly?

Why does everyone think Alex is controlled? It looks more to me like he wants to investigate, or communicate with it, albiet reluctantly.

Then again, it is the Operator....

A few thoughts after watching the entry a few times and reading through the thread.

First, I agree that Alex asks "What are you doing?" At the end. Which, for a while, I thought because I thought he asked when Jay was grabbing the key, but after rewatching again it's pretty clear that he asks right before Jay goes for the key.

Second, does someone with a twitter want to ask Jay if he knows if this tape is before or after #44 and #45?

Third, looking at the drawings, specifically the one that says "Return", I don't think anyone else mentioned it, but I'm fairly certain it says "Return home".

Fourth, I don't know how important the book is? It doesn't look all that old to me, looking at the binding and everything. In fact, the size and thickness of the book make it look more like a tabletop game book, to me. I don't know which one, though I'd laugh like no other if it happened to be a Call of Cthulhu book. I would also glee at the though of them being tabletop gamers.

Fifth, and completely ridiculous: It's like at the end of the entry, Alex and the Operator look at Jay and seem to be saying "Resistance is Futile. You will be assimilated"

if it was supposed to say bone, it would CLEARLY say bone. I hate when people think they see words in tree branches or a bush. The MH crew doesnt have enough time to find a bush with the letters "on" in it, get a clear shot of it and still have a social life. Its wake up upside-down. not bone. In case you didnt realize it, that wasn't the last entry. The last bone is to come
