bah, as posted before, I have trouble thinking death plays much part in MH. we just have not come across flat out statements that people are dead/murdered/etc.

good entry tho. well done, however as others have mentioned, its time to move along, we have been very "what is alex doing" centric as of late.
And there are other questions needing answers that I hope dont get swept away.

When I first saw the book, I thought of this painting, the Son Of Man by Magritte. I thought perhaps it was a stylized version of that on the cover of one of those Barnes & Noble journals/sketchbooks. I like the idea of it being an old book containing the Blessed Forest legend, but, as someone else pointed out, the spine and cover look a bit too new and unworn for me to fully adopt that idea.

Ignoring the wear, both the journal and the old book theories make sense. The old book one is obvious. If Alex is only drawing his creepy-ass pictures as a personal outlet (that's what I think, which means "Help me Kill me" is actually about suicide or self-sacrifice), maybe he's journaling too, or drawing the pictures in the book, then tearing them out. Are the papers shown in this one ripped on the edges at all? [/url]

Honestly after this entry I highly doubt that Alex wants to harm Jay. He knows that he is being super slendy stalked, and immediately Slendy shows up after Jay spends less than two minutes in Alex's house. To me it seems like Alex IS working with the operator, but I think he's going after the TTA gang instead. That being said it seems like even though alex is giving him the chance to get out of this, TTA keeps drawing him in.

This entry was pretty good! I was pretty scared shitless. I liked the little dialogue going on between Jay and Alex. Showed more from their characters. I still wish we could learn more from an entry though. They've been a bit repetitive.

Also, am I the only one that wants to see some more to the ARG other than just YouTube posts and Twitter updates? I'd love to get some cryptic website, send our addresses, and have them send us stuff. I was thinking it would be really interesting if they sent tapes to like 5 people that submit their address, they post what they find and people can correlate it with the rest of the plot. Anyone agree?

This is kinda unrelated to this entry but a lot of people are having speculation about Alex's girlfriend that appeared in one entry. I have a feeling (if Alex is not under TO somehow) that she was maybe kidnapped or killed. Alex might be still trying to track down what's happening to get her back.

Whoever claimed Alex focused on that closet for three seconds in Entry #44 was stretching the truth. He focuses the flashlight straight down his whole hallway, rather than just the closet.

Also, since I think it's tradition to tell everyone your reaction, I jumped like a sissy when el hombre alto ninja'd his way behind Jay!

One thing is certain, Alex knows when the Operator is nearby. In #43, he is wearing a chest cam, and the moment the visual tear appears he spins around to see our benevolent friend. That leaves no doubt that he noticed the tear in the cams viewfinder, but that he sensed it--in the same way the masked duo did in #45. As to what this means for #46, no clue. I didn't really notice any usual visual tears...

One thing I haven't seen commented on (in this entry or previously) is why Alex and now Jay always turn the lights off when the Operator comes around. We see Alex always turn the lights off when he checks his house in Season 1, and Jay seems to have picked up on that when he tells Alex to turn off the flashlight. Do they think the Operator won't be able to see them in the dark?

You know, as far at the BONE mystery goes, I think it would be especially awesome if Troseph had inserted this as a sort of meta-puzzle or easter eggs - something that has no IG meaning but maybe is sort of like an achievement or something for careful viewers.
