Well, Jay only says 3months after finding Alex, not necessarily which occurrence that is. That could be 42 or 38 for all we know. In 45, Alex called Jay to meet with him. That's not exactly "finding" Alex. In entry 42, they run into each other at Rosswood park. Granted, they were suppose to meet there, I think it qualifies as finding more so since they didn't meet exactly where they planned.

Also, has anyone else noticed in Entry 46, when Jay sees slendy and before Alex speaks it sounds like he is saying "no no no no no" to himself?


I'm pretty sure he was referring to Entry 35 with the "3 months after finding Alex" , and yes, he does say no repeatedly to himself because he realized he couldn't escape Alex's house and at that time in the footage he didn't know Alex and Slendy had meat several other times, so he probably thought, "damn it, were boned" (get it, bone)


wait, i'm confused. Where do you think think the 3 months is between? Did you mean 45 again the last time? Also, I originally read your post as 43 and 45 which I guess makes my argument irrelevant. But I don't understand how 44 would be considered when he "found" Alex.


No, not 45, I'm referring to entry 35 being when he found Alex, since thats part of our only definitive timeline so far, so thats where hes saying that entry 45 takes place 3 months after entry 35, since up to 44 had been within a short amount of time after Entry 26, and that 45 was the first major jump in time through the 7 month period, since they were really only a month into the footage by 44.

 		I don't think #46 was right after #43.

I'll start with Entry #42. Alex and Jay finally meet up, where Alex confesses he sent the tape to Jay and wants Jay to help him find Amy.

Entry #43 follows. Alex and Jay explore Amy and Jessica's old apartment. Alex cannot get inside. They go their separate ways.

Now here's where the order could be mixed up a bit.

I feel like Entry #46 would be next. Since #45 said three months have passed since they last talked, Jay would certainly be curious about what Alex has been up to. He had been looking for Alex all of Season 1 and now when he finds him, Alex doesn't really give him any answer. So our dear Jay decides to go find them himself and look what happens.

The reason I think #45 is after is because it seemed like Alex felt like Jay led the Operator to him. So, maybe he got paranoid and started filming again. Hence why he looks out the window when he thinks he hears something. It could be that he thought Jay was snooping again and that's why he grabs his camera and chases after him.

I'm... not sure where #44 could happen. It should happen after #43 seeing as he calls Jessica again in this video... But this would mean that Alex was filming before and randomly stopped filming in #46, unless he had hidden cameras?

Argh never mind, this post gave me a headache...

Well we don't know for sure he wasn't filming in 46, he could have been, and thought him taking the garbage to the bin wasn't film worthy, since in 45 he didn't take the camera to see if it was worth filming, but grabbed it when he knew he needed it. for all we know, if Jay had gotten away he could have gotten a call from Alex being all "WTF, I just saw you run into my house and steal shit on my camera, care to explain?"

Really, I could almost see the 43 -> 46 -> 44 progress EXCEPT ...

...that we see the drawings that Alex made in #44 while jay is searching. Yes, we didn't see some of those drawings being made in #44, but #46 also includes a very brief (blink and you'll miss it) pan which shows the drawing with the big operator symbol and "OPERATOR" written on it which WAS clearly made in #44.

My impression is that Entry #46 is within days or a few weeks of #43 (accounting for some time for Jay to have followed Alex around, as was twittered) before Jay successfully followed Alex home. #46 is probably only a few days from the events of #44

This is why I think the tape that Jay grabs (and Alex takes back) might actually be a tape of Alex's Operator encounters (that we may have already seen). Or... dun dun dun... Entry 29 (WMG on that last one).

Don't forget, 44 had Alex call Jessica back after 43 to tell her he got back in touch (LIES) with Amy and to disregard his last call.

I'm not placing them in different months, I'm saying the end of 35 (when he found Alex) is the starting point of the 3 month after I found Alex, so next would be 36, that is right after, 37 is a hacked video, and 38 is still unknown, so next is 39, which is a week after 35, then the next day (when they meet from the call in 39) 40, 41, and 42 take place, and are all in the same day.

 		I like the idea of 46 being a followup to 43. Are we absolutely sure that the chest cam part of 43 happened after the Jaycam part? Normally this would be dead obvious, but Confused

40-42 are all obviously in the same day, but I must've skipped the opening of 39 where he says that's a week after FINDING Alex. And it does make since that 43 would follow 42, but it never hurts to speculate. There's no timetable for where 43 fits other than at the end of 42 Jay says he's gonna stay at a hotel and 43 starts in Jay's hotel, right?

Yes, exactly, I meant to have "tentative" next to 42 and on in the timeline since they are more than likely in the first month, but since it doesn't say, its all speculation (which no, it never hurts to do).

Because we care and we can talk about it if we want to.
It matters because the order of the entries can explain how certain events happened, of course.
