He sure took a step up from collapsing into coughs at TO's mere sight to standing less than a few feet away without repurcussion. Except that evil lok on his face... *shudders*

Not sure if this has been brought up/debunked at all, but I thought I would throw it out there:

Anyone else suspect that Alex might willingly be in cahoots with TO? The end of 43 proved that Alex had either been entranced to or willingly sought out TO, and allowed himself to get abducted or whatever you want to call it. I know it was hypothesized that Alex's drawings in 44 were used as a bait or a summons, and again he gets abducted. After the Mask Coalition attacks him in 45, Operator almost comes to his rescue (?) and in 46 he definitely seems unperturbed by the horrifying interdimensional being behind him.

I dunno, the Alex-Operator symbiosis is ambiguous enough at this point that strong arguments can be made for a willing alliance (possibly out of survival? Or maybe Alex adopted an "if you can't beat 'em, join him" philosophy) or entrapment by The Operator. Just thought I'd share my thoughts Smile

For those of you who still have hope in Alex, keep in mind TTA told us what was up even before we saw this footage. Are we all forgetting fragments?

Hmm, good point.

If this is the case, I'd bet that it is a Faustian situation. Alex wants Amy back, so he agreed to work with The Operator for whatever twisted ends he desires.

Alex will do anything for love.

But he won't do that.

I really hope some major plot progression starts to happen soon. Don't get me wrong, I haven't disliked an entry yet. I just feel like it needs to pick up faster and start to answer some of the bigger questions soon. And there are a lot of those.

The story seems very deep. I see it going for three and four seasons before the biggest questions are answered. The smaller ones are probably never going to be answered; only speculated.

Screenshots!

Good heavens, these threads move fast.

Anyways, as promised, and for those who are interested, here are the 720 px shots of the drawings that I found going frame-by-frame. There are also a couple shots of the book, since it really stood out to me. As clearish as I got them, though, I still can't make out the title, or even the author. :/

I doubt the book is important. Troy and Joseph probably have plenty of books and textbooks, and that may be one that happened to get left in the shot. Just because Alex is being watched by a tall fellow doesn't mean he has no recreational activities.

That said, it could still be important. I won't be convinced unless it comes up again, however.

I bet he's feeling déjà vu from seeing all the drawings once again...
Strange how Jay hasn't done any drawings...

I was wondering too if Jay ever did any drawings, however I think different people react differently. Tim becomes a bully, Alex becomes a sketch artist, and Jay like to hibernate for 7 months.

But to be fair, Alex was haunted primarily by slendy, while Jay's been haunted mostly by Tim and TTA. Jay hasn't had nearly as much exposure to slendy as Alex has (and possibly Tim)

No, he sees a tall faceless man, and goes after the shiny key.

If the Operator wore a shiny tie, he'd get Jay for sure.
