Wher are people getting the idea that water hurts The Operator? If anything, it seems like TTA wants to escape water.

Remember, Noah's Ark wasn't a submarine. It was built to avoid the water.

Thanks for giving me the image of slender men singing yellow subwarine on a yellow submarine

Okay, the water bottle things are silly.

Well, the appearance of the water bottle in Entry #17 coincides with the main bit of distortion in that entry, and again with the water bottle (specifically picked up by J and examined) causing the main bit of distortion in Entry #16. It's not like the bottles just pop up in the background or something; they have no less focus drawn to them than the fire painting, and everyone loves to incorporate that into their Operator theories. It could easily mean nothing but it does have some backing to it.

Silly theory:

Since Tim is the one drinking the water bottle in 17 + the water bottle in Entry #16 is also probably Tim's since he seems to be squatting in that closet = the water bottles show that Tim has been somewhere, and he drinks lots of water either as a result of Operator sickness or to protect himself from the Operator. Which means the water bottle in 21 indicates that Tim left J the tape at the red tower, and the water bottle in 27 indicates either that Tim drove with J at some point or that he tipped J off to the secret during the 7 months... or whatever. Razz Now if only Entry #26 had a distorted Nestle ad instead of Skully, we'd be all set on ridiculous ideas that barely affect anything in the story.

Don't tell me you haven't seen theories with less backing than this be treated seriously on this forum. Rolling Eyes

Wher are people getting the idea that TTA wants to escape water? If anything, it seems like water is loved by TTA.

Remember that Tim seems to love him his water bottles, and Hoody spent a significant amount of time near water and waterfalls with Jay's camera.[/i]

Weren't there water heaters in the BONE closets too? I could be wrong about that, but that's what I assumed they were.

Oh ok, then what's in the BONE closet in Brian's house?

We saw Tim drinking water while coughing/taking pills. That's something any normal human would do. The water bottle in the closet is also easily explained by not wanting to go outside the closet to get a drink.

To me, there just seems to be more evidence on the water=bad side. What do you do with an ark when there's a deluge?

Where are people getting the idea that TTA loves water? If anything it seems that TTA needs water.

Remember, the majority of the human body is water, and Tim is a human

Entry #5:

Alex (referring to the Red Tower):

"yeah, that's like an old climbing wall, or uh, I can't remember if it was a climbing wall or the fire department... [distortion] "

Jay: I found your weakness! *opens his water bottle, takes a drink and then splashes the rest in the operator's face*
O-town: NOOO I'M MELTING.

End of season two. Buy the DVD.

If so the Operator must be related to the Wicked Witch.

Well shit...with all the wizard of oz parallels and
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Troy Wagner being an enthusiast and student of film...
that might have some substance to it.

So defeating the Operator will possibly involve Ruby Red shoes.
