This will be what half the budget goes toward, the most realistic sideburns physics ever made, they'll make Heavy Rain and LA Noire graphics look like a joke.

i'm actually in the planning stages of a Source mod based on MH
well, more like "inspired by"
but i've not really gotten very far with it, we only just started talking about it a month ago

i'm trying to think of a way to make it a meta-game in the same way that MH is a meta-movie, does that make sense?

Me: Yeah. Little more of the 4th wall breaking.
I like it.

Tim: also less combat, more of an adventure game
i think running around with a gun shooting Maskies would be kind of dumb Razz

Me: That makes sense. I just thought that the occasional confrontation with say, a masked character could be interesting.

Tim: possibly
but at that point it could be either melee weapons only, or like, somebody finds a pistol with hardly any ammo.

Me: I'd think melee only, like a flashlight or something. Anything besides that doesn't entirely fit with the whole thing.

Tim: but definitely not the "you ain't got no weapons so you better run and hide!" amnesia bullshit
THE MARBLE HORNETS CAST ARE MEN WITH BURLY STRENGTHS OF FIGHTING.

Me: God forbid Jay finds a cache of assault rifles and grenades..

Tim: that can be the unlockable Fury Mode
since I miss the days where you could unlock crazy shit in games with cheat codes

After that we just started talking about video games in general. Tim's a pretty cool guy.

 		That actually reminds me of a game from a number of years ago. I can't for the life of me remember the name of it, but the general idea of the game was that it starts out seeming like some other random video game archetype, but after a certain amount of time, the game/computer becomes infected with a virus and the real game is doing some Matrix/Hackers-style hacking to fight it off.

Edit: Never mind. The game I was thinking of was Uplink, which isn't at all what I described.
