 		His reasoning is that Slenderman can't process base64 code. It seems iffy, but I'll buy it. I think in to move the game forward, we have to believe this is Jack, for real, for now.

 		Um, video may come later, when they have videocameras IG. The PM uses video-editing software, so he could eventually add videos, or not. It doesn't matter to me.

I would think reversing it means "13 black", and I've never seen any evidence before where Slenderman is a Roulette man.

they do have cameras IG, that was my point.
He made it clear that he had a camera phone, but couldnt take picture of the door cause it didnt show up on camera.

So i then asked, why not take a picture/video of the group he is with.

I don't think there's any harm in asking for pictures. (So far, we haven't heard that Jack has a video camera.) Jack could just refuse; not knowing why the creature wanted pictures of trees or how he uses pictures for his own benefit gives a plausible reason to refuse: for safety's sake. Or he could oblige and we could gain some possible insight.

My only question to you, stringbeanman, is this: Would a picture of a 13 year old boy really allay your doubts? Couldn't it just be faked? If you decide to ask for pictures, you might want to be frank about your doubts (and probably emphasize that they're your doubts, in case Jack takes offense) and ask for something specific in the photo.

I said videocameras. I'll reiterate, there's no reason to doubt this is Jack at this point unless you literally don't want the game to progress at all...

Some of us were using Base64, some weren't; I haven't sent or received an e-mail from Jack in a little over a week. Has anyone else heard from him personally, Base64 or not?

 		Well I sent a quick email asking a few questions about the door in plain English. Been thinking-- if chaos is right about the symbol, maybe the "twins" connotation implies there are two different doors. I'll post it here if I get a response. I can't tell if we're stuck or just waiting for key info. With the earlier codes, Jack gave us hints via email. Then again, he knew what to point us toward, since it was his code. =\

Been reading over the blog again to see if we missed an earlier clue. I might try asking him for more on Serah and his neighbor; if we understand more about the events before Aokigahara, maybe we can get a better picture of how to keep them safe while they advance from here.

o.o I just realized that those pictures were sent two days before we went camping near the red wood forest. Four days before I went to them. I feel so immersed.
