Who remembers The Great Holocron?
2 years in hiatus, now returns?

For some reason, a facebook notice popped up on my feed from The Great Holocron a few minutes ago, saying to "Beware what lies ahead" and "This is where it begins to change". Trying to figure out A: what the hell this was and B: why the hell am I a fan of this, I searched Google for this and realized this was a facebook page for an ARG that began back in 2009 but fizzled out after the website disappeared, lending people to think they probably got a cease and desist from Lucasarts.

I figured it's worth a shot to just let people know this thing popped back up, dunno if anything will come of it but since it seemed people were kinda hyped for this back when it launched originally, there may still be some interest in it to this day. No other type of trailhead at this point, but maybe they're gonna feed us some stuff through the facebook feed. I really don't do the ARG thing too much anymore, but I just found this popping up out of nowhere to be odd...

I found the old topic buried in our archives, and I see it got up to 12 pages before coming to an abrupt halt. The original website is still just a parked domain, so I don't think they'll try it again. My guess is that they'll use their old contact to launch something different, so thank you for putting it up here as news.
