Even though it still makes me jump no matter how many times they do it, I don't like how The Operator's last few appearances have basically just been "BOOM! Look, there he is! /end entry". I don't think we've even seen Slendy walk since season 1. He just stands there...which is scary and all, but it'd be nice to see him do something different. More walking, maybe even attack someone on screen if the SFX can work. I like the dialogue-heavy style of the last entry, it'd be cool to see more of that between scares. Maybe show a few more "extra" characters like tothepark. And of course slowly answer all the questions, especially all the mysterious people's identities/motives, and what happened to the rest of the MH crew. It'd also be cool to have some info on what went on off camera in some of the entries - Why was J sitting in his hallway all druged looking while TO struts up to him (wait..don't answer that ), and what happened when Alex just walked up to TO while at the MH set? Nothing? Surely not =/

I'm not normally one to care much about misuse of the word "rape", but those jokes *really* aren't funny. For the record.

On-topic:

The main thing I want to see from Season 3 -- from the production side -- is more filming stuff in advance. Troy and Joseph clearly can't get more than just the two of them on a consistent basis, and IMO it really reduces the quality of the series when 99% of the videos have JUST the same two people in them all the time. It wasn't noticeable in the first season, but the second season has J and Alex together all the time so it's been really bugging me for the last 12 entries. If you watch the series and get stuck into a "the budget is so low that they can only get two actors" mindset, you aren't going to expect much from the climax. Troy needs to shake it up a bit and make it seem like ANYTHING can happen, even though it obviously can't. He did a great job with the hotel entries that were all done in advance, so he's clearly willing to go the extra mile when he absolutely has to... it would be good to see him do that same when he merely should.

Another thing about filming in advance is that you get way more time for editing. I assume that Troy put the most effort into editing the Operator in #26 and #40 (the two where he looks noticeably more real than other videos). Those two are probably his two most important and visible appearances, so I can see why. More filming in advance could give Troy time to make the Operator ALWAYS look his best. I think Oppy deserves it for the final season, doesn't he?

Story-wise, I really really want J to be less excessively retarded. Yes, it's funny that he's an awkward film student stereotype, but this is a horror series and I'd be a lot more invested in the scares if J was someone I really deeply cared about. As it is, he's mostly either comic relief or a voiceless non-entity (the latter more often in season 1). I think maybe they might use Jessica for this purpose, since I can't imagine why they'd establish her relationship with J so strongly in three videos just to never develop it again. If J in Season 3 teams up with Jessica (or whatever else that sticks them nearby), it would give them an opportunity to subtly make him a more human character -- develop him so he gets less awkward around her and stands up for himself better. Then if he dies I'll care a lot more because I'll have seen him grow as a character and have a relationship with someone other than Alex.

Speaking of character relationships, it would be great to see Tim being actual Tim again. He and Alex had an awesome relationship in season 1, as little as we got to see it, and I'd love to hear J say something to him now that he actually knows who he is. If Tim dies with his mask on, never saying a word, I'll be really sad (though not necessarily disappointed).

I like enjoy the fact that he got dirty, I guess, because Marble Hornets never shows anything similar.
