 		Quick update: We finally managed to uncover the key phrase for card #1 and now have the whole message translated:

1. Fellow Citizens - The mark I was tailing was an odd duck. Not sure whose side he was on.
2. Thought he was mixed up with all the recent unexplained fireworks in our skies
3. Possible fifth columnist conducting Soviet experiments in weather manipulation
4. But it seems as if there is more than one gang of black hats loose in Seattle
5. my mark settled at a table in the bar no idea who he was waiting for or why
6. Then the doors kicked in. A bunch of dark suits started waving guns around
7. Everybody lammed out but me. I dove behind the bar as they cornered the mark
8. They roughed him up asking him for answers then they shot the mark right in the head
9. And that's when I realized I had more things to worry about than catching lead slugs.
10. Trying to intercept plans for VECATV. If I survive you will be called to act this Sept. Stand by. Citizen 13.

Finally, the main CSW website has been updated with a message from Citizen One informing all members that they are updating the site and once it's back up to make sure all contact info is up to date and that "Citizen 13 may need to alert you if you are needed."

 		Just got a call from 12139857161 with what sounds like morse code and a voice saying this is a message from citizen skywatch

 		Actually, my call was different from the ones that other people received. (That's the "a-saboteur on SoundCloud" one by the way. Yes, I'm Ranger Six over on the CSW boards!)

After cleaning up the Morse code section in Audacity (protip: the "Noise Removal" filter is your friend), it turns out that my call translates to www.emeraldvanguard.com, not www.crystalpolecat.com.

Also, there were two other stations discovered by enterprising members of Citizen Skywatch: Mercury Teacup (www.mercuryteacup.com) and Tomato Powderkeg (www.tomatopowderkeg.com).

Mercury Teacup is known to be in-game, as is Emerald Vanguard. Tomato Powderkeg, we're not sure on yet - it went offline shortly after discovery, and as far as I know, nobody was able to copy the audio from it.

The messages from Crystal Polecat, Emerald Vanguard, and Mercury Teacup, however, have all been deciphered - and on a side note, I was the guy who partially cracked the Mercury Teacup message.

They are as follows:

Operation: MERCURY TEACUP

Message encoding: Vigenere, possibly with multiple keys. Half-decrypted - by yours truly - with the key ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ; unsure how the other half was decrypted, but that was accomplished by a joint effort between Citizens Codex and Ksarith over on 2K's Citizen Skywatch boards.

Decrypted message:

Citizens of San Francisco you are needed for operation mercury teacup on Saturday September twenty fourth between the hours of one pm and five pm Valencia street near nineteenth coordinates eight two six look in drawer number zero six six where its at reverse the alphabet zyx equals abc only twenty packets available.


So, we have three - possibly four - real-world events taking place.

The known ones will be taking place in the following cities:

    Los Angeles (Operation: CRYSTAL POLECAT)
    Boston (Operation: EMERALD VANGUARD)
    San Francisco (Operation: MERCURY TEACUP)


We don't know if Operation: TOMATO POWDERKEG is part of Citizen Skywatch, a joke, or an attempt at derailing the ARG (cough, cough, "Citizen Spywatch") - and we probably won't know for certain until such time as someone's able to capture its message and decrypt it.

 		Tomato Powderkeg is a legitimate part of the ARG, for the brief period of time it was up it acted exactly like the other three sites and featured the CSW logo to boot. It contained audio of a woman reading numbers in both French and Japanese (Codex over at the 2K Forums knows enough French to say that none of these numbers went above 26). It was pulled down fairly quickly though, as was Mercury Teacup. My guess is that we weren't supposed to find the other sites the way we did and Liz wasn't ready to announce the events for the 24th yet.

Both MercuryTeacup.com and TomatoPowderkeg.com are now identical blank index pages.

EDIT: Also, that letter is infuriating. There's got to be some crucial information on deciphering it we don't have yet, because nothing I can think of yields any results.

 		I wish I could, but the closest one to me is a 24 hour round trip. Sad I'm hoping they announce one a bit closer to Salt Lake City.

 		Well, the operation's running from noon to 4PM tomorrow.

Assuming a one-hour drive to Cambridge, I'd wager that if you got out of work at any point up to 2:30PM tomorrow, you should be able to make it.

(Alter the timing as needed to account for the actual time of the drive.)
